Iris, iris, and more iris!

I have begun the long-dreaded iris moving project. In fact started yesterday. These have been in the ground for several years and not been touched.

I have now dug up the row I had in the garden (nursery row). I lost lots of these to last year's heavy rains when the row was standing water for several days.

Now where to put them????that is the question.

I can't identify them, but am just keeping different clumps separated so, with a little luck, I will at least have the varieties separate.

I need Nell's organizion of my photos....I am having very little luck trying to find iris pictures to help...and then when I do, it is just of the bloom and not the bed! Wasn't that bright of me.

Of course, along the way, I spot a clump of daylilies that should be relocated so have a box of those too. Then I got distracted in one bed and began pulling weeds....I need a keeper.

This may take me all fall...........
