Anyone else having this problem - posts won't open

Trying to read jennypat's and mary_lu's posts, and they will not open for me.

This is all I see:

I seem to be able to start a thread but not post a follow up You do know that if you try to post to the same thread in a short period of time, that it will reject it, right? All one has to do, is just change the Subject of Posting line by one or more characters. It can even be an additional space in it. Sue

Nope, no problem at this end. I don't use GW Image File for posting pics - upload to my own servers. It's bad enough they plant spyware in your computer's temp files each time we visit, don't want them controlling my personal photos as well.

dawn, I used to post from photobucket too but now the options seem to be greyed out. If I click on html, it says it's copied like it used to - but it doesn't paste. I use flickr now, click on the pic I want to copy and click on 'share this' I always liked flickr format better anyway, just didn't use to use it to post.

So I guess it's a Gardenweb problem. I had trouble getting the "garden forum" front page today but it loads at the moment.

yes, for me too...it almost looks like a new way to advertise? Pop up stoppers wont work on this method...is this a way around it?

Just read that someone emailed
gardenweb and they say it was technical problems.
jennypat's and mary_lu may have to re-post.

They have posted a message up top under What's New

TECHNICAL UPDATE: As of 10pm EST on 8/19/2006, we are currently experiencing problems on certain forums. You may receive error messages, have difficulty loading pages or find missing posts. We are working to correct these issues and hope to have them resolved shortly. Thank you for your patience.

I've had a weird thing happen to me that didn't seem right or safe......... I had to re-enter my password everytime I changed forums yesterday. That seemed like someone fishing for my password. I have also had lots of spam in my e-mail
with garden type subjects..or saying responding to my posts..so someone is lurking here looking for e-mail addresses.

Mine is opening, but it takes forever. Just when I'm about to give up, it will open. Not only this forum, but all the other forums I read. Hope they fix it soon!

homemaker....I just reposted my earlier posting. When I came back on a little while ago, the earlier post wasn't even there. So I tried again. Thanks for the heads-up.

Sure hope they get this fixed soon.

I haven't had trouble opening posts but I was having trouble with the lettering catching up to my typing speed...which means it was Reeeeeeaaaaallll slow cuz I'm not a fast typist!
