Are all fig tree roots invasive?

ashleysf

I have an unidentified fig in my yard planted by the previous owner of the house. It has greenish fruit, and the inside is pinkish. The tree is about 11 ft tall and 7 ft from the foundation of my home. It is about 15 years old, probably. Could the roots be invasive? I saw several root clumps poking out around the base of the tree recently and started wondering if it is too close to my home? All my browsing talks about the Ficus Benjamina which is a different kind of fig, right? Sorry, newbie confusion.
