I overslept today, but it was a cloudy morning so I was able to photograph late. After three rounds of rain yesterday, the weather was cool and cloudy today. I should have weeded, but I kept thinking it would rain. We still have cloudy skies, but no rain yet.

They are fabulous flowers LOL! Beautiful as always. Love the doubles shot of LADY WU and BUTTER DISH. They look great together and I love Butter Dish. Have it here too. HEARTS AND LACE is my favorite. The red really grabbed me.

(something ate it already) The other day I picked a nice little cluster of grapes--in a hurry because a pair of red birds are eating them every day, too. I set the grapes on the ground and paused to pull a few weeds from around the vine. When I turned around the grapes were gone and my dog was completely innocent, deeply immersed in studying a passing butterfly. I did ask her "Bronwyn! What did you do with my grapes???" But she was wide eyed and clearly a bit confused..."Grapes?" she mumbled, "What grapes?"

I have never heard of a common name for Colquhounia. I suppose "Himalayan Mint Shrub" is as good as any, though really it tells you nothing more than it's a shrub, it's in the mint family, and it comes from the Himalayas. Boring! If Dee or plantsplus don't manage to post a mystery flower in the next few days, I suggest someone else should have a go. It's an activity that seems to revive interest in this forum. I remember 2-3 years ago we had the same sort of thing quite regularly.

wow you got some beauties today. lOve that Forever Redeemed gorgeous red, love them bright reds.I had to grab up my 3new ones from the yard this morning and put them up on the porch out of the rain,we have had so much rain,they were starting to look bad and cameroon night has a scape with buds on it.just 2 or 3, but, Im not going to leave it out in the rain for it to rot in it. rained all night, raining when igot up this morning, then quit for awhile,and its thund.ering now ready to start up again.

Kate - The Dominator is not doing as well as I had hoped. It lost a fan over the winter and then got shaded out on three sides by larger more vigorous clumps. I'm going to have to move it this fall. The flower is gorgeous and large, but it has fewer buds than last year. Woodsidequeen - Deer hate the smell of Bounce Fabric Softener sheets. I cut them into strips and tied them on scapes. The smell lasts through several rains, and I haven't had any deer eating since I put them on. I read about it in an article about 20 ways to keep deer from devouring your plants. They also hate the smell of liquid Gain Fabric Softener. I sprayed a lot of my plants with that, but it does wash off after a hard rain. Mantis - The Barbara Mandrell blooms have really improved over the past two days. It has taken three rounds of spaying to get the thrips out of the red bed. Insider Trading and Barbara Mandrell are both about the right height. I lost Entwined in Vine once in a pot. The place where it is now was shaded by bigger clumps last year. But luckily I sold four divisions of Sangria With Mia, so it gets more light now.

ACCENT is really pretty! It's been overcast here all day and no rain! It poured 1 mile away to the west, south, and north but completely missed us. Now I'll have to water tonight. grrrr.

I bought a clump of Accent on Style and and it slowly died without ever blooming.

WOW FABULEOUS is right.They are all gorgeous.LOVE ACCENT ON STYLE, and also W.GOOD OLD DAYS. Beautiful.I love that edge on MISTER BUBBLES. and love HEARTS AND LACE, too.Every one is beautiful.

I always look at yours to see what I am going to have to have next! I like Rosy Rhino and Winter Springs is a beautiy. I really think I may have to get Westbourne's Good Old days just based on the bloom.

As always, wonderful photos. I hesitate to even pick favorites, but I really do like Westbourne Good Old Days & Mister Bubbles, have to add Accent on Style too. Great pictures!

Rita - Thanks for the comment about Lady Wu and Butter Dish. I thought they might look nice together when I planted them. I remember you got Butter Dish even though doubles aren't really your cup of tea. I look forward to seeing pictures of yours this summer.

Cracking Crete - Let me know if you want some Butter Dish. It's multiplying like crazy.

Natanya - We finally got a bit of rain. Sorry your didn't get yours. I always enjoy a day off watering.

So many to comment on today. For a few of them, I like the way you took a 'portrait' shot and then a group shot. I love bitones, so ACCENT On STYLE and WESTBOURNE GOOD OLD DAYS are sure winners for me. Also love ROSY RHINO and your photo of QUIET TIME with the spiderwort is perfect. Very enjoyable pictures.

WESTBOURNE GOOD OLD DAYS and ACCENT ON STYLE are my favorites from this batch. I like all of them but those two just stood out.

Accent on Style grows here, but doesn't flourish. The Quiet Time photo should be framed and displayed. A work of art. I must look into getting Westbourne Good Old Days. Do you sell any on the auction?

Linda and Julia - You two must be bitone fans. I love the bitones and bicolors!

Mantis - Thanks for the compliment on the Quiet Time photo. I do sometimes sell daylilies and seeds on the Lily Auction under the username Lilipod. But I'm thinking about just sending out a sales list to friends and previous customers for fall instead of posting on the Auction. I'm not sure yet if I will be selling any W. Good Old Days this fall or not. (I'm hoping to wrangle a trade involving that one.) If you want to get the sales list, just email me. I'll also be giving away some daylilies for postage to make room to plant more seedlings.

I like ACCENT ON STYLE, ALIQUIPPA, and WESTBOURNE GOOD OLD DAYS. I don't remember seeing ALIQUIPPA before you posted it on Monday, but I really like both pictures of it.

Casey - Aliquippa was created by Julia Baxter, a backyard hybridizer, and it was not widely distributed. It's a very unique looking flower

Kathy - When I look at that doubles photo, it seems the lovely Lady Wu has all those Butter Dish boys in a dither. LOL I have a tendency toward personification.

You're right, you did have fabulous flowers today. The watermark on the Westbourne intro is beautiful, but I'd have to pick that gorgeous Quiet Time. Is it a polychrome?

My favs are WINTER SPRINGS and QQUIET TIMES. I am in my "white mode" I think, seems most of my favs in general this year are the off whites.

Chris - Quiet Time is near white blushed pink. After a cool night, it was more "pink" than near white.

Alexa - I went through one of those "white modes" about 2-3 years ago. Before that, the only one I had was Last Snowflake. I like how they make the dark colors next to them pop.

Nice blooms, I like your white one, Winter Springs, I had a white mood, a few years ago too!! and I am still drawn to the white ones, and you are right, they do make the other darker colors pop.
