Results obtained after cutting back roots in June 25th

I just wanted to inform some people that on my post (link listed below) I showed how I repotted and really got into giving the root ball a going over. That was done on June 25th and the other LSU Gold I did the same thing to the day later. Only because I thought it was necessary to be done because of what was happening to the trees at that time.

Like I wrote I thought they would drop their fruit but I was wrong. They are doing just fine and finally some figs are starting to swell. In my area this is the time the main crop usually gets ripe. I just wish we had a little warmer weather.

As you can see in the attached photo they look like they are going to make it. I don't recommend doing what I did until the proper time. Maybe I was just lucky. I took this photo yesterday --now both trees have figs that are almost ready to be picked go figure!!!
