We went with Blockbuster online because at the time it was less expensive than Netflix at the time. Now that they've raised their rates to the same as Netflix I don't mind since I can return movies to the store on the way to work and they get counted as checked in a day or two faster. Also, I get coupons for a couple of "free" store rentals each month. Still, being summer I'm not renting as many. Mostly I'm getting old comedy series, e.g. Kids in the Hall and Strangers With Candy and special interest documentaries like The God Who Wasn't There and Walking with Prehistoric Beasts, cable stuff I don't get like Penn & Teller's BS and of course a lot of mainstream movies. I agree about Walk the Line. Quite good but seemed much like Ray. (We tend to get Academy Award nominees/winners for the few months after the ceremonies) And as for 28 Days Later, that was fun to watch with my epidemiologist. We laughed our butts off. Atrophying biddies. That's funny! What is it about fussy, ugly flowers that draws that crowd?

Good discussion here and many valid points. I think much of this comes down to consideration of others. I could easily post twenty times a day asking various questions, showing time-lapse photos of cultivars, posting question threads, photos, etc. but I don't. I am aware that I am not the only person on the planet that matters and that posting too many photos becomes overwhelming and distracting to others. When it does become a bit of an unintentional problem is when there are 20 galleries that are spread out over several weeks/months that get bumped by 3-4 photos, then another user bumpers 2-3 galleries, etc. and all of the sudden the top 8 posts are galleries - even if they are created by different forum users and bumped by seperate people as well. As I've said before, from my end, I'll still post some photos from time to time, for sure some time-lapse photo series and make contributions/questions, but as to making/contributing to galleries that are going to get lost in the gallery section with one response, oblivious to most, I'm not going to waste my time. How about some here quit b!tching at one another and b!tch at the POS message board software GW has continued to use for a decade or more now? This site is son incredibly far behind in terms of forum software it is almost a joke. I don't by the "cost of running a site" crap either. I just completed a great website for an organisation I belong to, and its up, running smoothly, looks great, is functional, modern...etc... and it cost us less than $100 to do the whole thing. GW's forum software is CRAP now, and is sorely outdated. Time for GW to get with it and upgrade. If you want to see what a half way up to date web forum looks like, look at the link below. I didn't realize you could post pix directly from your computer using Gallery. I might have to try that. :) Photobucket is an extra step for me, but I've gotten used to it. My thought is using Photobucket keeps the storage space somewhere else instead of storage on GW. maybe that's why the Gallery only shows 8 pages of history. I forgot what it's like to be on dialup...I can't imagine now since most websites are so graphics heavy now. I'll try & remember to put PIX in my subject line. Thanks all for some clarification.
