Lots of flowers yesterday in CO--lots of photos

As if I didn't have enough to photograph & catalog at my home yesterday I went out to my display gardens for a look around. Here is what was blooming in both places.

This is my first look at all of these:

This one came home with me as soon as I saw the bloom!

A beautiful old Stout:

This poor thing is suffering from thrips I think

I don't know why I didn't take a picture of this in the clump. It was so spectacular that I dug the whole clump on the spot & brought it home.

This will be fun to use in my brown lines:

This Lambert had trouble opening with the cool evening but I look forward to seeing that color in a fully open bloom!

This is incredible. The flowers are HUGE. I wanted so bad to bring it home but the clump is so big that I'd never manage to dig it this time of year. It will have to wait for early next spring when the weight of the foliage is down.

Creation of a local hybridizer. I have some of his seedlings that were abandoned in the display garden too.
