I think some of those pot growers are very talented gardeners. My tomato seedlings have been in hybernation mode too. I never wanted to invest in the fancy lighting because I don't have the room or the money and in the past I have never really needed extra heat or light here in Florida.

Another sign of spring (I hope) is that my haden mango is putting on the panacles prior to the bloom. Hope they do not get frozen!

I guess the pot growers can make big bucks but they might get killed trying to sell it or at least go to the big house.

I think we should legalize it and tax it before the drug cartels take over Mexico because of our market demand for the drugs. I said this to some of our conservative dinner guest last Thursday night and about got thrown out of my own house LOL

Flying fish, I agree with you on the legalizing issue. Boy could this country make alot of $$ in taxes if it were legal. Remember, alcohol used to be illegal too.
My seedlings aren't looking so good either. Ditto on the money and room for grow lights, don't have either.

I saw a show on TV where that happened to the house too from renters. The house was totally trashed and the owners had to fix it up again. Mold everywhere from the high humidity. Plus the electric company was holding the owners responsible for the possible electric that was used. I guess if you rent you better check it out once a month.

These last few days have been wonderfully warm even without the sun. Most of my plants are showing new growth. And my mango is putting out the panticles too. I took a chance and planted some lettuce. :o)

The tomatoes I planted from seed have withered and died, the pole bean seeds must have rotted from the cold soil, the tomato plants I had bought at HD are just sittin there with blossoms that do not set, it's been just too cold... I think this Spring is just a wasted effort ! sally

I agree with legalizing it, but it will never happen.

I also agree that this spring is probably going to be a bust for tomatoes. I'm actually thinking of buying one or two grow lights to grow a few tomatoes indoors this summer, probably will be ridiculously expensive but at least it will be therapeutic :-)

Bernie, my tomatoe plants didn't seem to be growing either. I put them in the ground and sure enough, that is what they wanted. It better not get cold again!

I have a couple of tomato plants by the hangar with lots of blooms but not setting any fruit.

We're eating green beans from the same location tonight.

My potted babies have really advanced the last 2 days but will probably go dormant again. Hope my mango's panicles do not freeze.

The 3 bat houses have over 500 bats these days and I went up on a ladder last night after egress and there are a dozen or more fuzzy pups in the one house. Seems to early according to the literature.
