I am not going to put FFO under each title as everything I am putting in this thread are FFO from this morning. Lots and lots of first blooms today. Trying to post the best looking ones.

Thanks, everybody, for looking and commenting. I had never heard of Green Mystique being called "Green Mistake" which just points out how different flowers can be in different areas. Moon Over Monterey seems to put out perfect flowers nearly all the time. As for Bodacious Returns, that is the "Stella D'Or On Steroids" plant. Here's a thought about large flowers, short scapes. Rita, Thanks for bumping! I must have missed all the pics posted around the fourth as I didn't see these either. Posts were coming so quickly then as everyone had blooms that a post could go two pages in less than a day! These are all wonderful... I really like the clump shots the best, especially seeing what people choose to plant together. Citrix and Russian Easter are my two favorites of this group. I also really like the plateau grouping. I though of you when I was making my Maryotts order today... We have talked about climate differences on flowers... did you see the pictures of Pixie Paint Brush on their site? Doesn't even look close to the same flower! It was interesting for me to see a breeder that had fields in two different climates that was willing to post pics with such a radical difference. Looking forward to more wonderful pics when your rebloom really gets going! Julie

Thanks BJ...I often go there. I had wanted parrot Jungle last year, but did't buy it, but then Bill put the Linda Beck special up, I ordered it and Ledgerwood's Firecracker which I wanted too. It will be opening in a few days. Thanks Vickie, I think the rebloom is better than the original blooms, but I suspect a day or so later the splotches may be still better. (ie. not so prominent.) Thanks Rose...I really figured it had been altered, so was tickled to see the throat so green (and large) and the intense colors. kay

Pretty, pretty and prettier they get. My favorites were Clarification, W. Mom's Curtain Ruffles and Count It All Joy. I can resist a good lavender or pink.

Linda- It took a lot of time to do the pictures today and my season is just really starting!

mantis- Last year Choral Fantasy was a disaster as it was splotchy and had major problems opening. It is on my watch list for this year. I was actually surprised to see it opened well today. The color on it is increadable. So vivid, it just jumps at you.

Debra- I love them when they are really tuely pink like Count It All Joy is today. W. Moms Curtain Ruffles is another great example of pure pink with no coral tones.

Clarification is beautiful, love that color & looks like a large flower. W. Moms Curtain Ruffles has such gorgeous color, & Count It all Joy is a beauty too. Choral Fantasy is wonderful. They all are. Of course, you know my favorite...hint, the initials are Clown Parade! Oops...

Only one thing to say about these.BEAUTIFUL. all of them. INDY HEARTSTOPPER has the perfect name to go with its beauty.I just love SHARK ATTACK, its gorgeous. And I have really loved CELEBRATION OF ANGELS.CONSIDER YOURSELF is pretty, too.W,MOM'S CURTAIN RUFFLES is gorgeous.And I just Love CHORAL FANTASY.. but, my favorite one here is CLOWN PARADE.It just jumps off the page at you.

Rita, I'm with you when it comes to pinks. True pinks are just so beautiful. Moms Curtain Ruffles is such a generous form too. I am that way about purples, if is is not a blue purple, it's not a purple. It's a plum, violet or orchid.Love true purples and lavenders too.

Clarification is great!! And Westbourne red seedling is such a vivid color. I also like Clown Parade of course, and the two following it, Marilyn Lee Bock and Rose Electra.

First Flower Open. In this case the first one of the season for each pictured.

I went and measured the flower on CLARIFICATION. It is over 6 inches without streaching out the curved back parts. It wasn't this big last year. Probably just for the first flower.

CLARIFICATION is gorgeous. I got a little chuckle when I noticed how silly that one sepal looks standing up like that, but I'm sure that will improve as it gets going. Also love CONSIDER YOURSELF, WESTBOURNE MOM'S CURTAIN RUFFLES, TORRENT, and COUNT IT ALL JOY.
