Mary Lu, those are beautiful. I am just getting interested in daylilies and love seeing new varieties. The spiders really appeal to me.....the doubles still haven't grabbed me, but probably will sooner or later. I love the purple one.

Amethist Art is stunning! I want that...they are all beautiful.. I too am just falling in love with lily and the variety of colors.

Night Rhythm is my favorite it sure has a pretty color. Jean instead of dragging and dropping your photos I copy and paste mine, I just open my albums and at the bottom of each picture you should see a HTML box I just right click on the code next to it and you should see a window that says copy I click on copy and then go back to the forum and the message you are posting and right click again on your mouse and you should see paste click on paste and it should post to your message. When I upload I use the browse files option which is listed under drag and drop and open my picture files that way. I can upload multiple photos when I open the right picture file by holding down the CTRL key and clicking on the pictures I want and then hitting the open key when I'm finished choosing my photos. I like 1,3,4,5. I love the color of 1 & 3. #3 has everything I like, nice color, slight ruffling, white pencil line edge and green throat. I don't like the wide eye zones, the one here seems to just fit the daylily. Marg

Beautiful Edgings is beautiful :) Mine usually does that lower sepal sticking out too, but it doesn't bother me like with other daylilies. Debra, you are lucky! My DH says that they didn't know what an earwig was just a few years ago. They are nasty looking creatures. Marric there was a thread here on GW actually titled How to get rid of earwigs, IIRC. Maybe you can find it. I livehead once in a while, did regularly last year, and frankly I didn't notice much difference. They are not only in the flower they are at the base between the leaves too. Spoiled too many of my pictures. It would be interesting to see that Eyeliner lily when she applies her makeup

Thanks everyone. I must admit I am really enjoying this bed this year. We first planted it last June, so it is filling in quite nicely. Many have multiplied.

I took another of AA. The color looks a little different. This daylily is tricky to photograph and get the true color. Looking at both, I would say both are pretty darn close. It just depends on time of day, lighting and individual bloom.

Thanks everyone. I really do like AA and it was a "bonus" plant last year! She wouldn't sell it to me as she said it was too "small" to sell, but when I had my order all together, she gave me AA and a couple others as my bonus! It has really grown.

moonphase....I have a web page for my garden. Easier that way for friends and family that live distant to see how it is coming along. You are welcome to visit anytime. I have not had time to update it yet for 2006. Been taking lots of pictures, but no time to add them to the site. That will have to wait for a rainy day...
