How wonderful that hedge sounds. Glad to hear you had a happy experience with a plant order. So often that is not the case. I have a dwarf Wieglia given to me by a friend that has never bloomed. I've had it about 3 years and its still very small. It has the dark leaves some Wieglia have so I was expecting red blooms but none, sigh. I did a google search for dwarf Wieglia but came up negative. Have any idea why mine won't bloom? Be sure to post photos as soon you have the hedge planted up. Vikki

My order came 2 days ago and I was very pleased not only with the packing but the size also. I got 3 Japanese Maples along with quite a few heucheras - everything is healthy and very perky. Now it is up to me to keep them that way :).....

I received my order the other day, I was worried since it took six days to get here. The packaging was excellent and I was so happy when I opened the box. This was a real improvement over last year. They were well watered, and the straw kept the moisture in. I wish they would add some new things, at these prices another order is tempting.

Isn't it great when you open the box and everything looks great. One always expects some minor damage which is neither here or there.
Some of the leaves might drop or you might decide to remove them yourself, in either case new leaves will soon follow. Your hedge sounds like it's going to be an eye popper. Post pictures when you can.

Yay! I'm so happy that they arrived healthy Memo. I placed an order for just a few things (a few plants and a couple roses- I'm actually going to try roses!!) and I'm hoping mine will be here any day now. Can't wait!

I'm glad that others of you are receiving nice plants from Parks too.

Tracy I got one rose from them last year, a red one that I thought was a total gonner after the winter but suddenly it has started to send up shoots from the roots. I don't remember if it was grafted or not so it'll be interesting to see what I end up with. It's right next to the fence so even it it's Dr Huey or something similar I'll just leave it and let it grow over the fence. I hope you also get nice plants from them. You'll have to let us know how they do.

Vikki, I have no advice for you on your dwarf Weiglea but did a search and came up with a disscussion on them where dwarfs were discussed as well a pruning. Perhaps you could post on the shrub forum and see if you can get more information?

I received my order and it was also very well packed and the straw kept them all very moist. It had one crimson queen japanese maple, 5 liriopes, and 3 Heritage bare root roses. The roses are bare root and presently soaking in water and sprouting just a bit. They were in transit for 4 days but it's so hot out here that they had some surface mold growing on them. I don't think that it had anything to do with Park's, just the fact that I live in insanely hot Texas! I washed them off and I doubt it'll make any difference. All in all I'm very happy with the order.

I'm late with this post... been out of town. I received my order also and was very pleased. But I have 2 questions. The clematis had a note on it that it was not dead but dormant. Can I plant that now? Also I ordered 2 bareroot roses - Iceberg & a Meideland. Can I plant those now too or hold until fall? I potted the roses up in a compost/spanghum peat mix and have been keeping them watered and in filtered sun. I'm in zone 7, though I think I have alot of 8 microclimates.
