Lots of work indeed to bring them all in. Good thing you have a safe place for them to wait out the cold weather. Same thing here, windy and too cold. My kind husband helped me to bring my trees all in, Thanks for the pictures. All those green fig leaves made me smile.

Ah Rafed the work involved.
I also brought mine in even the large containers not taking a chance frost warning tonight from 3am to 8 am in my area also.
Hopefully this is last or 1 of the last ones we shall encounter till later in season.

I brought mine in as well, and will keep them in the house for a few days until the night time temps are back up. Tonight is supposed to be cold, too! The plants were just starting to perk up after their long winter in the basement under lights!
Rafed, among my plants are the ones you gave me, still growing and happy! :)

Very nice pictures indeed.....they provide proof that you are one fig nut.....something to be proud of. I predict lots of figs in your future. Best of luck to you.

left mine right where they were outside last night. Too much work to move them back in again.

Went out this morning and everything looks fine. (except for two nice fat figs I had which I was hoping would ripen in the next week or so, they had been half-eaten)

I brought all mine including the big container ones in garage Saturday evening just dont have enough items to cover them with unless i group them together then i figure if i do that i just might as well put them in the garage.
Today knowing that tonight the temps will drop down around 32 to 34 with clear night and no cloud cover i left them in garage with the overhead door open for fresh air today. Tomorrow i may bring them onto driveway after i see the extented forcast.

I did notice yesterday that some leaves were torn and a few leaf stems broken from the hail we previously had. Im glad i dont have as many 30 gallon containers anymore cause there heavy to move especially over the rocks then over the cobblestone walkway then over a little grassy area where they sit for the season. I had thought the 30s temps were not coming back and had moved them all to the yard from the driveway (sigh).

Not been active on GW these last months--nothing much to say! The plants haven't been doing anything exciting, just waiting to go outside.
Those are great pictures of your plants in the garage. They look very healthy.

Ah, spring! When hopes are high, and memories of previous challenges and failures are dim!

moved all mine. I did have a couple singed leaves from the night before on one plant. Also I had a couple branches broken from wild-life (already).

As a plus, my pawpaw blooms are beginning to lose their leaves and almost all of the blooms are leaving behind 1-4+ small developing fruits!
