Rita, you surprise me but I agree with you. MBD is a fine dl... Kay, isn't that funny. A lot of folks who don't like doubles, like that one. It's extended bloom is a plus and the fact that it's kind of a spidery type double doesn't hurt. I have always been happy with it..MAA bloomed a little late this year.. Val, Mekong is not very well know, I think. I don't know anyone else that has it but I am sure some of the forum do, although I have never heard it mentioned. I like it quite a bit. MBD too, of course. I'm glad they interested you enough that you had to view them several times.. Sharon, I think a lot of the appeal for MBD is the watermark. I love them as do a lot of our forum friends. I'm glad you enjoyed them.. Thank you Debra.. Chris, the first time I saw CC I was in love with it. So I ordered it and put it in the ground in June..( Maryott) I was at a friends house a couple of weeks later and she had it. I was through blooming but she took a lot of pics. I must be tired because I don't know what to pick as my favorite. There certainly are lots of beautiful choices. I love the very first one, STREET URCHIN. SUSAN WEBER is always a favorite around here. But I think my very favorite of this batch is SYMPHONY OF PRAISE. What a beauty. The pink color is wonderful. And a bi-tone with a watermark to boot. Yes, deffinately this is my favorite of the batch.

This is my first year for Facepaint and I think it will only get better..and your welcome, it's my pleasure.... Julie, it's true that some of my pinks are peach colored in someone else's garden but the reverse is also true. Some of the pinks in other gardens are peachy here! I did the same thing with FP. I wanted that one but kept putting it on the bottom of my list until last year when it was on the LA..I just WANTED it..I'm glad I got it too!! Vickie, hehe!!...the way I misplaced it follows.. I took a bunch of "older" daylilies and put them in a Horse shoe type bed. Some I have had for many years and was a little tired of. I didn't make a spreadsheet because I really didn't care. This year when the dls started scaping, I was looking for ED and couldn't find it on any of my spread sheets. Then, lo and behold, I went to the well for another reason and it was blooming. I don't have to tell you that I snatched that dude up and ran to a bed where I replanted it. Beside the well, I have a seedling bed and some seedlings that were blooming so I went to see!! I really like ED too!! You are right about ET..I really like the "attitude there". I'm not to very impressed with EC but it's relatively new so I will give it a chance.. Chris, I'm glad I'm not alone in the EC thingy. Bring it on, I have 5 acres of woods that are full of daylilies..and irises..some hosta's too but that was accidental. Voles or some other varmit ate some of my hosta's down to the root and I dug them up and tossed them in the woods. There must have been a bit of crown on them because this year I found them growing ( beautifully I might add ) in the woods. I plan to bring them home again though.. Linda, I don't like the pix on Tinkers of ET. Paul Owens pic looks muddy and murky. She bloomed like crazy this year and the first blooms were small but she got it together later. The small blooms were very pretty too! FP is a beauty and I really like the brightness ..She's in a bed with many different colors and is a standout! Val, I think ET is an unusual dl. If I'm not mistaken, it came from Chris but I didn't keep my list and don't know for sure. I love the eye and the unusual shape.. Flowergirl, if the eye on mine were more pronounced I would reconsider. It could be that she's in full shade. I might give her another year and move her to the sun..I'll see what she does then.. Rita, I agree with you completely!! ER has a most beautiful color and always opens well here. Of couse, there's no reason why she shouldn't since she isn't ruffled a lot but she is still a beauty in my book. Catch up part 10 arriving shortly.. Yep Michelle, FR is in my front yard. It had to be someone who would recognize the dl though, not just random. Fortunately, they didn't take the plant as someone once did! Not that one but another...I have a few still on first bloom and several on rebloom. I still have scapes coming on though. I had a couple of seedling blooms today and saw a couple with scapes. 7a is my zone but sometimes it's really a 6b.. Kay, Frequent Comment is a very pretty dl. A variety of colors, nice size bloom and faithful to bloom. Bill Maryott talked me into this one several years ago! FON is kinda new to me so I can't comment on it except to say that I like the color! Rita, Ferengi Gold is is blooming now. She is a nice one even on rebloom but FE doesn't re bloom for me for some reason. I think FA is my fav of this group..BTW, doesn't your red noid you posted look a bit like Fiery Moment? Kay/phal , I don't mind at all. I will look as soon as I finish this thread.. Debra, When I said FA was my fav of this group, I forgot about FR. I do like that daylily.
