I was able to find one picture from 2005. I have more, but this one seemed to show the color well. I hope the color scans correctly, and shows up right on your computer. It's and old photo before digital cameras. As the growth matures it stays yellow, and begins to droop downward giving the appearance of bananas. The color has been reliable every year. The tree has grown taller and filled out a lot since this picture was taken, five years ago. I got some cones/seeds off of it about 2 years after i transplanted it. I grew them, they germinated well, and about half of them showed what looked like "yellow" seed leaves. Unfortunately, i let them dry out and they all died the first year. Since then, it has not produced any cones.

I hope you like the picture, and send me some comments. (any idea what species of spruce it is? i guessed red spruce)
