To compare: my Cedrus atlantica Glauca trees are burning to brown or red of frosts in every five years. They renew just of the sleeping buds.

Breeder/Found 2009 Mesterházy Zsolt in Erdőtarcsa HUN
Introduced 1987 Mesterházy Pinetum, Erdőtarcsa HUN as Juniperus communis saxatilis Jeddeloh
Description A soup-plate-like circle, 1 m high and 4 m diameter at an age of 23 years. Gives a lemonade sight in spring. I bought this beauty in Litomysl CZ in the mid 80s. Some years ago I sent a copy of this to Sabine zu Jeddeloh, but they never heard about this plant. Maybe the grandfather left no notes, or it was only renamed in Litomysl. I guess I will never be informed about this story. Not long ago I supervised the plant, and I saw, the main thunk is going round, and round again, just like a galaxy on the heaven. After supervising I decided to introduce it because of the familiar charme, kindly habit, optimistic character I can't enjoy it only alone.
