Urban and suburban finds
After the three romantic intro chapters into the Organic Conifering, lets see what we found in the last two years with our newly dressed eyes in Hungary an Turkey. Aged plants, great dwarfs, giant compacts, dazzling habits, unexpected forms, fresh colours and wintergold type different conifers.
A conifer may be organic and semidesert selection at the same time, if the criterias are well.
Not long ago we finished with Nate Cassell and Dax Herbst the Jerry Morris Life Monument 2.0 in 2012. He found not only brooms, but a lot of wild trees. Jerry Morris is also an outstanding organic breeder and we are really very sorry, that his organic finds are far not well documented yet.
I guess, that we all found a new world, which was not known before.
Picea pungens MPH Mamut Torony
2010 Mesterhazy Zsolt HUN found in the Budapest suburb area
Extraordinary and extravagant impression is this hanging big tower in an intensive blue. Braches are turning down in 10 years to the trunk as we should have looked at a queens suite. 20 meters in 50 years. The tree was bought in 1961 as a usual seedling in a nursery. People walking along the house are enjoying the sight. This selection is one of the best find of the new breeding method, named the organic conifering.
