My marigolds have different blossoms on each stem
Comments (1)Most people use Photobucket to upload their pictures. When you get them on Photobucket, put your cursor over the picture and and small menu will appear under the pic. Click on HTML Code. Copy and paste to the GW page. I keep both pages open at the same time to make it easier. It will first appear as text but when you submit the pic will appear. Comments (6)Agreeing with Marcia. One thing you need to know when you're planting out marigolds, is to really spread their roots out and loosen the soil they're being planted in. At one time I would plant marigolds from little pots, and they would just sit there all summer never getting any bigger. Then I started direct sowing them and they were like gigantic marigold trees. I figured out (with help from GWers) that if their roots are wound up in the pot they never really figure out to branch out on their own. If they're direct sowed they develop normally. Funny thing about marigolds. I also find they like fertilizer a lot....See MoreEmbarrassing My Wife
Comments (14)The pictures are super interesting, Joseph. I'm unschooled in how terrible, just OK, and great installs look so I always love examples. The Baltimore Ikea store clearly got luckier than Florida did. I am sure I didn't look at them with sufficient care, but I don't recall seams or edges that stuck out nearly that badly. I do recall seeing a damaged sink, in either Baltimore or College Park. Our personal install job came out OK - I'm pleased enough with it. But, of course, we didn't have to deal with the Tampa contractor. I'm amazed Ikea is letting some of the worst examples stay in place. Ikea seems really to push the quartz counters (so I assume there's money to made there). And isn't selling stone counters like 'selling the dream' to people - it's not like anyone *needs* them, everyone just loves to love them....See Morenutsaboutflowers
