Opinion About Annuals, Please:)

16 years ago

{{gwi:906}}

I bought these plants (24 of them) in the last few days, 16 red salvia and 8 marigolds. I've set them in a full circle, 2 to 1, 2 salvia and 1 marigold. They're just sitting there, not planted yet. Do you think I should ad da 3rd flower and is so what? Should they be planted between each flower in front of the othes or should I move the row of plants more towards the back and plant a mass row of a smaller flower in front of the others? Thr flowers I bought should grow about 12-15" tall so I'll need something low in front, maybe like a pansy, etc. What do you think? I'll be leaving the plants in pots for possibly another couple of weeks, we've had some nippy nights, average temp this morning at 7AM was 46 degrees. My rose trees took a hit as did the Gold Medal but they'll be cut back anyways. TTYS, any help will be appreciated. ~Evie
