This is pretty obscure. But has anyone seen anything on graft compatability within the cembroides group of pines?
I was thinking that since I could not get seeds this year for remota, but I can get edulis seedlings and remota scions. Also, I read cembroides ssp. lagunae grows fast, maybe it could give a boost to some of the slower ones.
There probably is an answer out there becasue there are, for example, cultivars of monophylla. Surely they aren't grafting those on the super slow monophylla seedlings. That would make for some expensive plants.
