This is my favorite group of photos you've shown (must be all those Munsons). I need to find Venetian Magistrate and Chandigarh. My Thebes is much more purple than yours. Is this its first year blooming for you?

Oh, Karen. I wasn't bored at all. I was totally enthralled by the ever changing colors. The first 2 daylilies are fantastic, whatever their true color. I understand wanting to share all of this beauty with someone who can appreciate it. My husband is not a gardener at all, but is so sweet to walk outside with me when I want to show him something. Bless his heart, he tries to show enthuriasm the best way he can. Plus he lets me garden as much as I want. Please keep posting your beautiful pictures. Ann

My patio gets a lot of use because in the summer its my main living room! I sit out there, cook out there and of course, sort my daylily shipments out there. Plus the view of the hill in back of the patio, where you can see the zinnias and roses now, is directly off my office window so I have something really nice to look out at when I am working at my computer. Debra, glad I could inspire you to plant Off Beat. Thanks for you compliments on my picture of Classic Edge. I did do a better job with my pictures this time around than with the ones I posted of what was blooming last time. A liitle practice goes a long way! Unfortunately, I don't think I will be practicing my daylily picture skills anytime soon as there isn't anything blooming to take pictures of!! Of my older daylilies that I had there before this springs daylily craze hit, Rocket City is my favorite.

I hesitated before putting out the Singing in the Rain name just because mine is more of an orangey pink (from what I remember, didn't even get to see it last year!) than that. The difference could easily be the soil and environmental, though. Here's a couple of pics of mine from several years ago. The first shows several blooms and the fade to yellow, see how orangey the more pink ones are? Ignore the very bottom left flower, that's a droopy flower next to it! And PLEASE ignore the foliage! That was a heavy hail storm year, seems we've had far too many of those lately... The second picture was taken in full sun so is probably a bit washed out but otherwise shows the color tone of a newly opened flower in my garden.

All beautiful. I think your photography skills are about as good as your daylilies too.. you always get great shots of them.

Woooo wheeeee these are purty!!! I am so ready to hit a local place to go see whats blooming so I can get me some more. Might just go Monday! While my hubby is at work. lol!! Judy

Gorgeous! I love Summer's Sofer Side,Lady Violet Eyes, and Coquina Key the best, but they are all beauties!

So gorgeous!!! I must put Venetian Magistrate on my short list.. lol All are so pretty!!! Is there a trick to taking such great photos??? I can use all the help I can get.

Chris...yep those Munsons will do it every time. You should see my Munson beds, really getting lots of bloom now and so pretty. Actually this is Thebes 2nd bloom season in my garden.

Gnomey....thanks, but I just get lucky I guess, that and I've got a great camera! LOL

Judy....get out there girl...you need more dl's, don't you know? :)

Missylin...glad you enjoyed looking at my dl's. CK is a real beauty in person, but then again, most of them are to me. :)

barbiescrapes....as I told gnomey, I guess I just get lucky and have a good camera. VM is a beautiful and very distinctive dl I think.

Wow that first Munson is a real beauty! And, Lady Violet Eyes... love that one, what a color combination. AA05-29 is gorgeous too!
