I know I have posted some of these but since there is some improvement, I though you might like to see them.. Navajo Blanket is diamond dusted and I don't remember seeing that on her before. Also, a couple of seedling pix one new first time ever bloom and a diploid from last year that I really like out of Flambouyant Eyes.. Enjoy!! Ellie

Dazzling Spider looks kinda muddy in this picture but doesn't in my garden..

This one is new to me this spring and this is it's first bloom at my house. It will be better!!!

This seedling has never bloomed before. It's a nice height and a pretty decent size bloom but has some stippling which I don't like. Maybe the next bloom will be better!!!

This is quite a large bloom. Last year it was huge. It's settled in a bit and the color is good and it has a very nice ruffle. Not overdone. I don't remember what the cross is but as soon as I can get in the bed I will see. I do know it's out of FE. About 29" in height and blooms size is 6 1/4 to 6 1/2 ..

ellie, your pinks are so pretty. mine are usually salmon colored or muddy.

thesilverpumpkin, I have some that are supposed to be pink but are salmon for me. Thank you, I prefer pink. I am adding a pic of the last seedling above from last year. Big difference as last year, I almost decided not to save it...Ellie

Thanks for the compliments on the annual pot! I worked for a private gardener one summer many years ago and my job was to do the annual pots and take care of them all summer. They ordered truck loads of gorgeous and rare annuals for their customers. I WISH I had access to something more interesting, but I make due (sp?) with what the local nurseries sell.... geraniums, million bells, licorice, potato vines, petunias, etc... I have 2 of these pots in my back done the same way and every year all I do is change the color of the million bells and geranium. It always comes out nice, but I think I'm getting bored with the same design every year. Oops, sorry to go on... thanks!

I lost them from neglect. I got sick and couldn't take care of them. My neighbor also cut his tree down durring that time and my plants toasted.....I was getting constant panic attacks. Even laughing would trigger one. Since then I've learned to deal and not panic :) I'm remarried and this hubby likes plants. When I can't tend to my plants he will. I have a great support system now ❤

Ness' Fantasy Gold has medium size often misshapen flowers - but the color is very interesting and the orange-yellow streaks are attracting hybridizers trying to lock it in the next generation. I am sure we have it in the parentage of newer hybrids - we just do not have access to this information. So - it is an unusual plant. Probably not for everybody. I love when it is in bloom, but you just feel getting old by waiting it to finally produce. It holds the bloom for a very long time - so if you have a good bunch of flowers - they are quite cheerful. Buckeye Seductress is gorgeous - the only problem for me - it is very variable. Each plant comes a bit different. You come to the Show- and there will be 3-4 of them - and sometimes you have trouble believing that it is the same hybrid. What can I say - somebody loves a cream pie - and somebody - salted herring. And it is great. Otherwise we will be all growing the same 30 Optimaras... and nothing else...

Pretty!! Can we see Lady too? I had San Antonio Rose that Kristi gave me many years ago and they all died. Now, I have some that Ray has given me and although they are alive, they are not flourishing. I think I'd have to buy a fully developed bulb to see any flowers before I die!! I have this, purchaced from EBay but it's never bloomed even though the bulb is good size. I have it labeled as Voodoo or Naughty Lady; it's similar to SAR but I won't know if it never blooms will I?? This picture was from a Florida seller and I just couldn't resist. I did receive two decent size bulbs and they are healthy so I guess I'll just have to continue to wait!!! If they look like this picture, I'll be happy what ever its name is. I don't remember what the seller had it labeled as, might have been Naughty Lady but I can't remember.

Oh Ellie...I think LLF is gorgeous. Don't you just adore MMM? I love mine. I do see the diamond dusting on NP, very pretty indeed. Oh goodness, sure hope SE blooms as nicely for me and wow, SPE has really shaped up, beautiful.
Hey, I love those 2 seedlings Ellie. The stippling on the 1st one reminds me of Breed Apart which always has stipling for me. It also has a great form to it. I think you may really like it once it settles into it's norm. The last one is such a gorgeous shade of pink and such a nice big one too. I like em big Ellie!! :)

Yes, I do see that nice diamond dusting. Beautiful.

I like the SPE. I just started adding alot of Spacecoasts this year. Hopefully they will do okay here.

Jan, I like em' big too!! That is a ffo on the first seedling and it has several buds so I will see what happens to it! I had Breed Apart..I didn't like the stippling and it never bloomed well for me..I sold it out.. People are different, even daylily nuts like us. There are some that I just can do without as I'm sure it's the same for you. I don't like Mini's very much but I do have several. My favorites are the seedlings I have that are from some of the Siloams.. You've seen some. I have one blooming now that is out of 2 large dls and it's going to the woods. I kept it this long because I really don't have many blooming!! I drove about 25 miles south yesterday to a friend and she has a yard full of blooms. Some of the same ones Ithat I have! LOL!! LLF is new to me this year! I won it on the auction and I think I love her. She a suttle one and is supposed to have a silver edge which I don't see yet! Remember how Bird Talk looked when I got it? It was horrific but really shaped up!

Julia, I have always been pleased with my Spacecoast daylilies. They seem to do pretty well for me and as for beauty, you can't beat um'.. I have around 20 I guess!! I don't know how they will do in your are though...

Jean, that was a ffo on MMM so he will be a lot better SBB is an often ignored dl but the eye is about the darkest I have ever seen. I have a seedling from him ths is a light peach with a dark eye. It's very pretty too!! SE get better as the season goes on. I can't wait until tomorrow when I will have some fresh blooms!! I hope....Thanks for looking..Ellie

Beautiful seedling out of Flamboyant Eyes -- that one has realy promise!

My favorite is the oldie NP. Terrific photo.

I love LLF! So pretty! Your seedling out of flamboyant eyes was worth keeping the extra year! What a difference! It is SO PRETTY. I'm anxious to see last year's seedling pics compared to this year myself. I will have many more seedlings bloom for first time this year too! Great pics Ellie!

Chris, I like NP ok but she isn't a fav. I think the seedling shows promise. This is her 2nd bloom season...

Nancy, I have anoter ( todays) pic of LLF and she really is a beauty. I can't wait to post it...Be sure you post your seedling pix..I would love to see them.

Dianne, I'm not much with the yellows. I have some I like but they really have to be special as I think that's my lest favorite color. MMM is right nice though.

Kathy, yep, I'm glad I keep her. She is nice and tall and has a really nice sized bloom. Of couse the bloom size could change..

Ann, I think it wa pretty green that day but most blooms are more yellow..
