Let me guess...blue is your favorite color, right? :-) I sort of like the color change on Out of the Blue...the pale orange compliments the eye color. But I still like Little Blue Bell the best! Kathy

Cindy- Thanks. I seem to be way behind you in bloom season even though I am supposed to be zones warmer LOL! Nancy- Now that I think about it I remember I used to have Forever Stella over there near were Sunny Spot is now and it didn't start to rebloom until I moved it to daylily row. So maybe moving will do the trick. Kathy and Linda- I don't know why its named Eflin as that makes me think of a small bloom but it's not small. Vickie- I just hate it if a daylily blooms down in the folliage. I have kicked out anything in my garden that did that. So that one will go too. Its nothing to look at anyway, just a small flower plain yellow daylily. The orange lilies are about 3 feet tall but I have shorter orange ones too so I know you can get them somewhere. I love my roses but the spring flush is winding down. It was just the best that it has ever been this year.

Mantis, I think Rita's pictures of Butterfly Season are darker and actually I believe ours are, too. It's just the hotter weather and the camera that makes the flowers turn out lighter in color. Also, I think with brand new plants there can be a difference in the way they look now versus how they look as they get older. For everyone that likes the zinnias, we plant them every year from the seeds we save. For some reason, the purple color seems to be dominant. We used to have lots of different colors but not so much now. Debra, for some reason, we don't have very many pollinators in our garden so far, and it's possible our vegetable garden is suffering because of this. We don't know if the strange cold weather in April killed off the bees, butterflies, bumblebees, moths, etc. but we see only a few now and then--it is a mystery. We did just plant that new butterfly bush, and we are hoping that soon we will see butterflies on it. Avedon Debra

Well Mantis, even the greenery was gone...I just accepted that it was not going to thrive, took up the label and forgot it..then here, three years later it puts up four scapes and starts blooming. We will see if it continues. When bought Shake the Mountain from CT daylilies, Chris was concerned that it was tiny and would not survive. obviously it did and it thrived. I moved it to a better place last year and it really seems to be happy....We will see. Abilene is doing well. It has pretty colors but is not my favorite, probably because the bloom is fairly small. Thank you Julia I posted a tiny fraction of them since most people don't have them blooming yet. and I don't want to wear everyone out. kay.
