Beautiful as your photos usually are. Love them all but that last photo of Fanfare is really gorgeous. And that little daisy just beneath TPH is exactly the color of the dl. Did you plan it that way? :)
I only had one new one to open today, so I'll save my photo till I get more to share.

Beautiful pictures and lilies, Kathy. I have never seen white begonias. What are their needs as far as light, water, etc. I had Humdinger the second humdinger "open" today, but neither really opened well at all. What a waste. It hardly opened at all. My only one that is blooming now is Betty Warren Woods. I see you have a gerber daisy in your bed. Very pretty.

Jan, It was luck - that daisy is in a clump of three - a red, a yellow and a pink (strange combo but that's the way they were potted and I haven't divided them).

Julia, I've been putting in a lot of hours outside too. I try to get as much done as I can before the really hot weather arrives.

Debra, I could use a rainy day...it would force me to stay inside and clean house!

Chris, It was your pic that convinced me to buy TS. Even though it was rusty last year, I couldn't part with it.

missylin, Those begonia's have bronze leaves with white flowers. They are very common here. Mine are watered every other day. I've always planted begonia's in the shade. But I keep seeing huge plantings of them in front of hotels in full sun. This year is an experiment for me. One side of the bed is full sun all day long - we'll see how they do - they may be crispy by August.

Such a welcome sight for me with all the rain we've been having this week. I like them all but Two Part Harmony with the matching Gerbera Daisy (I think that's what it is)is my favorite.....Begonias which have green leaves usually require more shade then the bronze leafed varieties. I see the red flowered bronze leafed variety planted around commercial buildings in full sun here. They look a little tired of that full sun position by late August (but then so do I).

My favorite of those pictured is Tropical Sensation.
I imagine a whole blooming clump would look as if it's on fire!

I also have Lollipop Lilies, and they have increased like rabbits.

maryl, Yes, everything looks a little tired by August...will be interesting to see how the begonias do. I'm also curious about TWO PART HARMONY and wondering when it will start doubling - I've had about 10 blooms and they've all been single.

blue23rose, PINK FANFARE is a big daylily - big flowers, tall scapes, and long wide strapping foliage. Glad you enjoyed it.
