Todays reds with 1 pink...... :)

Here's some FFO's on a few blooming today. I posted some last night, in my last thread, "Blooms After The Rainstorm".

A great big red one and always beautiful.

An old spidery one. Red again. :)

This is the prettiest bloom Burning Angel has ever bloomed for me and it's been in my garden 3 years. It debuted today with 3 blooms open of which this one is the best. One had a bit more thrips damage, and the other one was terrible as usual. I sprayed for thrips this year, and BA is one of the few in my garden showing signs of them, thank goodness.

And now a reliable pink that blooms it's head off for me.

Just beautiful! Big Easy is a nice looking red. The color on Charlotte Holman reminds me of the Corryton Pink that I just posted on the Best Pinks and Lavenders post, except Charlotte is a little darker I think. Love the dusty rose color.

Ooooh, I like those reds! Whenever I look across the yard, it is always the red that stands out. Thanks for sharing, Jan.

It doesn't look like they have anything even near modern. Plus my RUSSIAN EASTER is way more yellow than that, maybe theirs was really bleached out by the sun. I also have BOLD TIGER, its a nice 'oldie'.

I got the paniculas in one gallon pots @ Home Depot. The blushing bride was $15 - 2 gallon pots. I planted the paniculas in full sun, the BB in part shade little sun. I am very very happy. The girl @ Home Depot thought I was crazed being so elated...oh well nothing like a good plant on sale!

Beautiful reds! Burning Angel is one I keep going back on forth on. I see too many photos of it looking blotchy, but this one's a keeper.

Thanks everyone. It's a good thing I got these photos early cause we got more heavy rain this aternoon. Began around noon and rained almost all the rest of the day, sometimes very heavy, so you can imagine what my poor blooms looked like after that! :)
I'm not complaining however, cause all this rain is going to make for vibrant color in all those future blooms!!

Such a pretty picture of Charlotte. And maybe burning Angel doesn't do it often, but those colors are really pretty on that one.

I love reds but CHARLOTTE HOLMAN is very eye catching.
