A few new ones & a few you've seen before

Velvet Eyes, I love this one. Someone talked me out of getting it years ago saying it doesn't do well. This one was a gift & has been a great one here

Symphony of Fire, a new one to my garden & its first bloom. This photo really doesn't do it justice, it is deep rich red. When I just had 6 daylilies a few years ago, I thought- I have purple, yellow, peach & 2 different red ones. I've got all the daylilies I need. After all how many different ones can there be out there. Then I found this forum & lost my mind :) I have several reds & every one is different.

August Wedding

I have a few in this white/cream with nice edging, but boy is this a big flower. I don't remember it being this huge last year

Two Part Harmony, it still hasn't doubled but that doesn't bother me. I just can't imagine it being any prettier than this

Thanks Jean, Chris, Debra! I just realized how similar Neal B. and Tah.Waterfall look :) TW doesn't thrive thrive but at least it is not having very low BC like Neal or some others. I usually count flowers, so it had 31 flower the first year it bloomed, and last year it was sick and had 21. I will observe the scapes sturdiness this year. I thought about getting Flamingo Parade, hoping it will be of similar color but tet, but who knows how that is going to do here.

Thank you, Beth and haku! We've had a lot of cool weather and rain recently, I'm not sure if that's what causes the lack of pink in my Peace blooms or not. It's warmed up a lot recently. My Double Delight blooms have been on the pale side too. My Midas Touch got a slow start the first couple of years, but it's beginning to take off, one of my more BS resistant roses. Beverly is very fragrant, it's a good rose, mine is on multiflora. This year it has a pattern of almost continuous bloom.

Nice pictures. Your seedling is lovely. I love the bicolors and the soft colors of yours is a bit different from the usual ones. Pink Stripes is a wacky thing. I think we need to get this one even if it is a dip. (We grow mostly tets.) The effect of River Wind when it is a polytepal is neat. Nancy

The blooms are really starting to come on at your house. Very nice! I like Velvet Eyes the best. Maybe August Wedding is large because of all the rain?

I have always loved seeing pictures of 'Velvet Eyes' and always wanted it too. I never got it because I heard that it doesn't like the cold, but I don't like the cold either and I've managed to survive...LOL.
My next favorite is 'Spiderman' and I tried to order it from EarlyBird but she was out of it...boohoo. I am enjoying all your pictures.

August Wedding has a lot of buds, looks like it is going to stay busy for a while. It is the only thing in bloom right in that area, so big it really stands out. Rita, it might be due to the rain. We are getting rather dry now, but we got quite a bit of rain probably when the buds were developing.

August Wedding is a beauty, but my choice of these beauties is Velvet Eyes. I love the look of the red flower with a black eye.
