ID Assistance Please

Found this little jewel and had to bring it home with me! Was the only one available, was not tagged and I feel certain it was left over from a shipment that came in last fall. It is, without a doubt, from Iseli's Fanciful Gardens collection. I'm thinking Cedrus deodara and after going through their catalog, the only two I found with a similar look and description were Raywood's Prostrate Dwarf and Scott (Scott supposedly has some gold coloring - I'm not familar with that particular culivar). Any ideas?

Looks like either Cedrus deodara 'Prostrate Beauty' or 'Divinely Blue'. I'll lean towards 'Prostrate Beauty'.

Wow! You're good! I pasted Orthosiphon aristatus into a search engine and you're right, it does look like Cat's Whiskers. From this, I was able to learn it is not hardy here in upstate SC. Thanks, Adele!

Claire, the only open space on our street are front lawns. The first time we saw bluebirds in our backyard was several years ago when we had a lot of snow on the ground. The bluebirds were eating beef suet. That was the very first time I had ever seen bluebirds. So in the spring we put up a bluebird box, but they didn't use it. We tried placing the box in various places until we finally located it in the front yard at the side of the house. That did it, and every year since, they have nested in it. They have two or three broods a year. In the photo they are eating the homemade stuff we make with peanut butter, lard, flour, and other ingredients.

Has the appearance of a noctuid moth caterpillar, they can overwinter. In late spring and summer, the adults are the small to medium brown moths that dart around, flush out of watered plants, flit around lights, or die on inside windowsills. Grubs have three pair of prominent prolegs and can be dotted or speckled, but usually not patterned like your larva.

Will, THANKS! My first thought was Pygmea (and that's what I was hoping for), however, it is not shown in their catalog nor do they show Divinely Blue. Foilage on your Divinely Blue looks much larger than the foilage on my plant anyway, realizing my plant is much smaller! Prostrate Beauty is in the Iseli catalog and a possibility.
