You'll be doing a lot of digging again! :o) I HAD to be ultra conservative this year... I am really out of space until I get a new bed. Even then, I have about 100 seedlings that need a home (other than a pot). But, I did break down and buy a few from my most wanted list:

I didn't order much this year. I am only getting 5 from 3 sellers. I ordered from a 4th seller but those daylilies were gifts. I have 3 coming from Coral Kincaid, including my most anticipated, Gentleman's Lady, 1 coming from Wayne Ward and Wayne Storrie, Major General, and one coming from Mike Grossmann, Spacecoast Southern Belle. Actually I have many more coming from Mike but the rest are gifts.

Rita, if you haven't ordered from Mike before you will be pleased by the size and health of the fans he sends. I order from him every year.

A lot less digging and planting than last spring, at least for the daylilies. Going to be ordering a bunch of iris so will be planting them too along about the end of April.

I can't wait to see pictures of all you new dls. I certainly don't envy you with all that planting ahead. But the fruits of your labor will be well worth it, I'm sure.

I ordered 9 from Lakeside Daylilies, a local grower here in southern Indiana. I love going to their farm and seeing things first hand during their open gardens in June-July. I won't be able to resist buying more then. Helps me to space out my plantings.

I was sitting here bored to death last weekend watching the blizzard outside, and decided to order some daylilies. I haven't ordered for years, afraid of getting rust. I hope I'm doing the right thing now. I sent an order to Roycroft, just from pics I ordered Lav. Blue Baby, Indian Giver, Dixie Rythm, Connie Burton, and Susan Weber. Anyone here grow any of these?

I have Susan Weber and really like it because it blooms later than others here. I also like the nice pastel pink coloring, I think it has a Victorian look to it.

Probably have had it about three years and it hasn't multiplied very much, but that's because I probably gave some to a friend. I thought I had a picture of it, but couldn't find it. I'll have to be sure to get one this year.

The only one of your list that I have is SUSAN WEBER. It does very well here. Really a very pretty daylily with lovely soft coloring.

I traveled with a friend this past weekend to Kennesaw Mountain Daylily gardens, the home of Bill and Diane Waldrop to pick up the only 2009 introductions I purchased this year. He and I split them as they were double fans! We
had ordered LYDIA'S REGAL ROBE, DIANA'S EVENING GOWN, both 2009 introductions and KENNESAW MOUNTAIN HAYRIDE, a 2008 intro from Bill which has been in high demand on the Lily Auction. We wanted to see his place and save our plants from the 2 or 3 days in a box "trauma". Mission accomplished.
I've not seen or heard much discussion about Bill's plants or operation on this forum. He is running a first class daylily growing/hybridizing operation in Northern Georgia, emphasizing dormancy into all his lines and is producing outstanding, beautiful and hardy daylilies.
He has some seedlings and future introductions that are out of this world. IMHO of course. Super nice fellow and great to do business with.

I am a big admirer of Bill's plants and have KENNESAW MOUNTAIN HAYRIDE coming from him in a few weeks. Also loved the other two that you mentioned and wanted to order them too ( but restrained myself) Probably should be spending that money getting my head examined instead, as I have to begin digging up and selling some 40-50 daylilies over the next few weeks just to make room for the new ones. Ugh!

Flowergirl, I grow the Tet Lave. Blue Baby, Susan Weber and Indian Giver. They all do very well here for me.

Oh, thanks so much for posting the pics-I can only hope they all do so well for me here. Right now the plants here don't look so well. We are in a deep freeze here. It's supposed to get down to 19 tonight, we have had so many nights in the 20's lately. When I ordered those daylilies I didn't even think to look and see if they were evergreen or dormant.
