Hi Lrae, The only one I grow is PEACOCK MAIDEN. It is one of my favorites - big flowers, nice scapes, good foliage, and quick to multiply. Here's a pic of it growing in my garden -

I don't grow STAR OF INDIA but the offspring out of it inherit the applique throat - V-E-R-Y appealing.

LOLA BRANHAM - gorgeous, slow to increase.

JAN'S TWISTER - gorgeous but blooms on short scapes.

LINES OF SPLENDOR - not a big bloom, short scapes, few buds.

I don't have the others nor do I have an opinion :>)

I grow PEACOCK MAIDEN and STAR OF INDIA, both do great here in zone 7.PEACOCK MAIDEN increase great here, when from 2 fans to 16 in only two years.

Hi, I agree with the comments of Jan's Twister and Peacock Maiden. I also grow Guinea Jubilee--it multipies fast and is a great bloomer in zone 8.

Can you tell me anything more about GUINEA JUBILEE? Do you by any chance have a pic? I saw the pics on Tinker's, and would like to see some more if possible.

Lola is one of my favorites ...

I can't find the pic I have of it right now, but it's a great plant and only was a slow increaser the first year, for me.

Thanks for your response. I went to your webshot page, beautiful daylily collection. When I tried to access your pics after the first time, they don't come up. Don't know if it's my computer glitching or what. But what I saw the first time through was indeed beautiful.

Lrae, sorry, I do not have a picture of Guinea Jubilee. It is a rusty red. The scapes are true to the description height. Here, it blooms in mid season and the rebloom follows the first blooms. This makes it a long bloomer. I do not know the bud count, but there are plenty of blooms. The color I am not crazy about, but being such a great bloomer it is a keeper here. I have to say that I like Jans Twister and Peacock Maiden much better if I was picking by the looks of the bloom.

Thanks so much for your response. GUINEA JUBILEE is one that I probably will not make a decision on until I see the bloom in person. There is something to be said though about a long bloomer! HMMMMM........
