I have been working with a carpenter to get my house in shape and he told me his mother sold her house a few years ago. She had him retiling, refinishing floors, refacing cabinets - drove him crazy! The house sold in a month for $540,000. Her neighbor put her house on later that year. Her house was disgusting (his words). Never did a thing to it. Sold in a week for the same amount. He keeps telling me 'just put the dam thing on the market...stop fixing things!' I'm thinking that this is a tough time to sell. There are over 100 houses on the market in my area. Many are newer construction (last 5 years). Huge homes, everything looks new. Then there are the older houses which haven't done much updating. The larger houses are all priced over 1M and are sitting. I have been watching and the houses which are selling are the mid-range houses 5-800,000. Majority are in the 6's. I think staging will help. It seems to me that many of the houses appear staged. They look very cleaned up, neat and sort of generic. All the wood floors are shining and the bathrooms look updated. Some kitchens are older but look clean with updated appliances. Xamsx I like your idea. It would be so helpful to know. Jane

BP, I think your daughter has classic good taste. :-) I wear different fragrances for different moods or settings. I always wear Tuscany when I will be seeing my daughter as this is the fragrance she associates with me. There are a couple people who associate me with Ciara, so, like Tuscany, I wear Ciara when I'm going to see those people. I wear Chanel #5 when I'm feeling nostalgic and vulnerable. To me the scent is light and not too much of any one note. JenMonkey, I can tell you're a youngster (in comparison to many others at the KT) just by the men's colognes you listed. These colognes will bring back a few memories for the older folk... English Leather. Russian Leather. Old Spice. Polo (a bit newer than the first three). Back in the 80's I swear every guy I encountered wore Polo and my boss at the time, I'm certain, bathed in it. Jodi-

I switched to 'reduced risk' products with nicotine and haven't had a cigarette in 2 almost 3 months, in that time I've noticed that my sense of smell is returning and I no longer feel a need to practically bathe in perfume because there's no cigarette smoke smell on everything I wear anymore. Since the trend towards body sprays which have a lot of water and alcohol in them to fill the bottle along with a quarter being the actual scented stuff, people get used to whatever body spray they've got on a lot faster (in my experience) and if they can't smell it they think nobody else can either. The sprays are cheap in comparison to even eau de toilettes at the lower end of the department store fragrance counter and a good eau de parfume can price well beyond most shoppers' finances will allow them to afford. The sillage (how much area a particular fragrance will 'spread out' and almost follow the wearer) can be significant or a perfume can be more of a 'skin scent' which means you mostly can only smell it if you lift your wrist close to your nose or dip your head down close enough to your cleavage. I know that fragrance can bother a lot of people so now that I've quit smoking I've been working to be more conscientious about sticking with the 'skin scent' category and sparingly. It helps to be able to smell things again though. :P

Thanks! Oakley -yay for Aquage! That brush looks amazing. Funkyart which style do you think runs wider? My feet feel much better. My left foot doesn’t hurt at all anymore when I have them on. The right foot still does but I suspect it will take awhile for that foot to settle down. I really need a pair of comfortable (standard work with almost anything black) boots/booties but don’t really like their styles. Theres one that’s ok but I wish the toebox was shaped a little different. Going to order more sandals. Im going to look into some of the other sandals mentioned here too. Thanks Eld. Yeon -The small bottle (they have a large size too) has a dropper and I just put a drop on the applicator and run it along the top. Another drop for the bottom and drop right at the beginning of the spooly brush to use on my brows. It sounds like a lot but I have over half a bottle still. I don’t recommend brushing the oil on the lashes with the spooly brush (mascara wand) because the oil is so thick it just beads up. It’s kind of gunky feeling but doesn’t irritate the eyes at all. I do it right before bed and sleep with it on. In the morning I just rub my eyes. It seems some of its absorbed in because there’s less. ETA - Thanks for suggestions about exercises. I was thinking there was probably stretches or something I could do to help. I'll check it out. Justerrilynn -They look great! And nice ZZ plant too.
