Wendy....do you ever worry about using raw eggs? I have heard debates back and forth when making egg nog too... Here's a recipe I have, that's really good...no eggs. Bailey's Original Irish Cream 1 cup light cream 1 can Eagle sweetened condensed milk (14 oz.) 1 2/3 cups Irish whiskey 1 teaspoon instant coffee 1 tablespoon Hershey's chocolate syrup 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 teaspoon almond extract Combine all the ingredients in a blender set on high speed for 30 seconds. Bottle in a tightly sealed container and refrigerate. The liqueur will keep for at least 2 months if kept cool. Be sure to shake the bottle well before serving. Makes 4 cups. Tiger

To Luthien, I found out this past year you don't put off duing the things you really want to do! My new "ME" paints what makes me feel good and I am challenging myself to paint things that I think are beyond my reach...if I don't try I will never know what I can do! And if I can't do them then I will go on to the things I can do and be happy at having tried. As to the "subtle yet so effective" don't know where that came from. Mine are nothing like the artist who created them, and I hate to shade anything! I try to do to much to fast and end up taking it all off and starting over - think I would learn someday! Belle

Sorry for not getting back to you earlier, I was out for the hollies. I'm not really sure! What Grandma did was to cut out the best part of the front of the card. Usually a scene or something. Sometimes there was a "back", other times just the shape. I found these and put a tiny hole in them w/ a paper punch and tied them onto the packages. Perhaps this idea works best w/ older cards. I haven't evaluated my cards from this year yet.
