I was given an aloe plant for Christmas, but I don't know what kind of aloe it is. I've done some researching on the internet and have come up with two possibles: Aloe cooperii and Aloe pendens. Neither one is exactly right, but they are close in looks (I can't post a picture, as I don't have a camera). Aloe cooperii seems likely, as the leaves on my plant are distichous (I believe that is the word), and they are also shaped like cooperii, except they are white-spotted (very pale green, actually) on both the top and the underside of the leaves. On the other hand, the leaves seem to most resemble Aloe pendens, a really good match, EXCEPT that pendens leaves do not look distichous.

I usually hang out on the Antique Rose Forum, but I do have a very small (but beloved) succulent collection, and people on this cactus/succulent forum have helped me very much a few times in the past, so I'm hoping you can do so again. Many thanks.
