Hello, I have epiphyllum oxypetallum cuttings available for trade. What I'm hoping for: 1) rare/unusual pepper seeds (don't have to be scorching hot, prefer mildly hot but unique tasting, smoky) 2) Fig cuttings: Brown Turkey, Mission or any other black varieties. there are two types of "grow lights" that fit into standard fixtures. One is a CFL and its coiled. The other is a blue tinted incandescent light. The former is far better them the latter. 60 watt *equivelant* CFLs actually only use 18 watts and don't make that much light. I would reccomend at least a 40 watt bulb that has an equiveancy of 100 watts. Moving the plants from under lights into direct sun probably caused your problems. Either leave them under lights, get more wattage, and leave the lights on for about 16 hours per day; or leave it outside in shade for a day or two, then a little brighter, until finally it gets a few hours of direct morning sun and bright indirect light the rest of the day. Plants have to build up a tan to protect themselves from the sun just like people do. GW doesn't host pictures themselves. you need to go to a hosting site like photobucket, and then post a picture directly to the post, or a linbk to the picture. Good Luck Bob

Bill, they're going to ask you what medium you have it planted in, how often/how much you're watering, how much light it's getting, etc. I don't have the answers..but I do know that the more information you give these amazing folks, the more they're able to help! (You can also post about the dracena over on house plants)

Our Night blooming cereus bloomed for the first time in July of this year- We had 11 blooms on two plants and were thrilled at the size and beauty of the blooms- They bloomed for four nights- A few each night- This past week they started getting buds again! We had been told they will only bloom once a year and then at the last of July or the First of Aug. So we are in shock they are blooming again- This morning there were three beautiful blooms and there are more buds yet to bloom- Is this uncommon? Regards CK
