Adorable little 'Hobbit' there. Interesting to me how over here I'm seeing larger 'Hobbit's not maintain their color nearly as well as smaller cuttings.

Merry Christmas, guys! We're having slightly warmer weather, thank God. It only dipped into the low to mid-thirties last night, rather than 20 to 25 degrees, so I'm thankful for that.

Yeah, my larger 'Hobbits' aren't as colorful right now....
Last month, however, my largest 'Hobbit' was knocked out of its pot (which was smashed),
and so it's been recuperating ever since. I don't blame it for not putting on a good show ;-)

I've noticed that cuttings and small plants often have great color. Part of this, I think,
is due to the drier conditions of a small container volume as well as a small root-mass. When
I let my Jades go a bit dry (hard grown), I get some of the best color.
