Arizona Cypress in the Chisos Mountains - the East Rim Forest

On a recent trip to Big Bend National Park ran across a whole other population of Arizona Cypress trees besides the population at Boot Canyon. They are found on the wooded slopes below the East Rim. While I don't know the full extent of this group, they appeared to be as numerous as the Cypress in Boot Canyon. They were found between 6,000 - 6,800 feet elevation and seen from the Juniper Canyon Trail. Not as good as being there, but hopefully the link will work.

Here is a link that might be useful: East Rim Forest
