Key lime in MN flowering now/ lighting question

O.K.... I brought in my key lime tree in from the outdoors in october and now it is flowering like crazy. It has a southern exposure and receives maximum amount of sunlight that one could get in a Minnesota winter. I have had the tree for 3 years and it has only set fruit the first year in which I received it. The fruits never mature and will fall off(yes I hand pollinate them). The tree is otherwise quite healthy and receives correct water and nutrients. My question is to those who are growing these trees in a similar situation/ environment. Do I need more humidity? Change light amount/light characteristics with HID lighting( I do have a 2- 400watt HPS and metal halid system, but am not using right now)? Or just force it into hibernation in a cool dark garage until April? Any suggestions from experienced citrus growers would be appreciated!!
