Are Christmas cactus self-fertile?

drosera36

I recently fertilized a Christmas cactus flower (a red one rubbed against a white one) and the white flower has now made a large seed pod. Do the flowers self pollinate? Or can they only be pollinated by other flower's pollen? Will the seeds be fertile? And if so, how would I germinate them?

Thanks,

-Ben
