'Gait' is almost tropical looking, love that one.

Sam, you certainly are sharing some beautiful conifers. It is nice to see a photograph of Gold Dust as I just purchased that one in hopes of adding a bit more yellow to my collection. I know mine is only a baby, but mine is not very gold yet.

Clement is right, the Pinus banksiana 'All Fordham' is a Pinus contorta cultivar, imo it's the 'Willow Creek' which arose as a witches' broom.

The Pinus sylvestris 'Kelpie' isn't right either.
Pinus sylvestris will candle in a differend way.
Also the yearly shoots of your plant are to long.

Edwin, I'm somewhat apprehensive to rename Pinus banksiana 'Al Fordham' to Pinus contorta (var. latifolia) because this plant came from Iseli nursery, and I've never before seen a mislabeled plant from them...

What do you propose the Pinus sylvestris 'Kelpie' actually is then?

Sam, some day you'll also learn how to determinate a conifer.
Clement is right, it's a Pinus contorta which you can see when you look at it's needles and long buds.

Iseli can also make mistakes just like anybody else.
True evidence is that the Pinus banksiana 'All Fordham' is a weeping form which you can't see either here at your pic.

I'm sorry to say but I realy don't know what your "false" 'Kelpie' is...

The original name for Thuja plicata 'Gruene Kugel' is 'Eschrich's Gruene Kugel' which is the way how this cultivar must be written, please change it this way...

I hope the Pinus contorta will prove to be a 'Taylor's Sunburst'. The form reminds me more of my TS than my 'Willow Creek' .

Picea glauca is possible because of the round buds, Picea mariana buds are pointed and it's needles are less thick...

I got this plant from Bob who found it growing as a reversion on Picea mariana 'Nana'. The reason for the rounded buds is because the new growth is developing inside; they did not appear quite in this way earlier in the year.

It's 'Blue Teardrop' indeed, but do you also think it's a Picea glauca cultivar instead of a Picea mariana cultivar?

to the best of my knowledge, Bob Fincham discovered 'Blue Teardrop' as a reversion on Picea mariana 'Nana.' That's what I've always gone with.
