Last 3 winters it seemes I couldn't get enough lites. Had 2--40 watt fluorescents, 2 110 watt blue grow lites,& a floor standing work lite w/ 2--500 watt halogens IN MY KITCHEN. Now, in new sunroom, I have 3 fluorescent fixtures with 8--4 ft (Type T8) 32 watt lamps & one blue 110 w lite & it's working. Total watts=360 watts. One 32 watt T8 is brighter than a 40 watt F40!! I also have a 8 inch X 12 ft. long mirror between the top of window & bottom of lites (not in this pic) to reflect more lite to table of plants below it which has mirrors on it to reflect lite upword. I put reflective stuff inside skylite walls too---more lite. This was taken during day with the "cloud" covers off the fixtures. I will put foil INSIDE the fixtures (above lamps) to reflect even more lite.

{{gwi:631305}} Windows on right are facing south & when leaves fall off trees, I'll get more lite. The lites are also on a timer switch to go on about 8:30--10 am and 4-8 pm.
