Citrus Pruning & Indoor Transition?

Hello neighbors! Summer 2013 has been a summer love affair with citrus!
This year I found a love for growing citrus. Throughout the summer, I've acquired:

1 Meyer Lemon (4+ feet tall)
1 Persian Lime (about 2 feet tall)
1 Key Lime (about 2 feet tall)

They have been thriving on my west facing NYC balcony all summer. As we cool down, and for me in zone 7b, inevitably have to bring them indoors... I realize, I may not have the space!

Here are my questions:

-How much if any, can I cut these trees back? Without harming them(The smaller the better)
-How would I do that and when?
-Can I repot smaller?
-Am I better off finding them a new home?

I'd really love to keep them, but I don't want to kill them, and I may not have enough indoor space for these three trees in an area that is sunny enough unless they were smaller!

Any feedback/thoughts/answers are welcomed!

Thank you
