Hi all...Hope you all had the best Christmas ever!!

After Rigo receives his SS package, all is complete...YAYAYAY

I hope everyone had a great time and if interested next Christmas, I will host again.

I'm SO very happy it all worked out for everyone involved and I thank everyone who participated.

That is AWESOME Caren. It is so great that eveyone kept their end of the deal. Pretty sure Rigo's is getting there too.

I hope I get to participate next year again.

Well, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late! Everyone has such wonderful things! I received my box from wonderful Linda, aka 'oldcrafty'. There were so many excellent things, I haven't gotten picts of all of them, so I'll try to list them. I lost a couple items immediately, my daughters have quick hands!!! I mentioned that I love peacocks, and Linda was on a mission!!! I think my favorite things were these green statues, and my Ms Kelly flamigo/peacock! There is also a wonderful birdhouse with sparklies in it, I'm thinking about where they need to go, a gorgeous beaded hanging candle holder, sorry no pict, my oldest took it and ran! Cute little pinecone men, found a home on the window sill, a peacock tray, a fiberoptic lamp (cool!!!) and I know I'm forgetting stuff, but I'm at work and can't go look!!! oh, a couple of magazines filled with gorgeous flowers and neat ideas! I'm sorry, Linda, I can't remember all of my treasures right now, but it was a marvelous box!!! You did an excellent job with your first Secret Santa! NMGirl - I didn't know what those little beady things were either, but I knew you would be able to find a creative use for them! When I saw that nut, I just couldn't pass it up! I didn't know WHO needed it, but I knew someone did, then I got your info and I thought you would definitely be able to make it into something a wee fairy would want to live in :) Hope everyone has a marvelous New Year and I just can't wait to see what new ideas crop up this year!!!

Well folks I am home after a weekend in the Temple hospital. God blessed me with some great doctors and nurses . What I was transferred to Temple for is they thought there was a problem with my aorta lining being separated in one spot and Harker Hights could not handle such issues . But much to the doctors relief as well as mine this was not the case . The whole problem revolved around an alergic reaction which developed over time to my prescription to lisinopril which is a blood presure med. so be warned if you are prescribed this med you may after time develop an allergic reaction which involves swelling in the extremities which is inflamed and at times it itches . also can lower your blood pressure to near dangerous low levels. so be on guard if you your loved ones or your friends take this drug it can be dangerous.Some other good news I forgot to mention. Since I last saw my Doctor in Bryan earlier this year my heart function is up 9% and I have lost 15 pounds . A great victory thanks to the help and good care of my doctors and nurses And the good Lord looking after me. This is one reason I have not been very active on the forum this year. hope to change that dramatically. I have missed everyone. Merry Christmas. Kevin

HOLY SMOKES! I CAN POST TODAY! Merry Christmas Eve! From highalttransplant, I got a wonderful tree ornament made from her son (I think) which is now hanging on the tree. How thoughtful! She also sent an amazing amount of seeds including black hungarian pepper, cascabella pepper, patio red marconi pepper, sweet pickle pepper, chinese giant pepper, cherokee chocolate tomato, broadleaf sage, and Extra Curled Dwarf Parsley. I cannot thank you enough. Those are all new to me so I am very excited to get these planted. Thank you very much for your generosity and the wonderful new ornament/card. From bumblebee1, I got a great Santa card with garlic chives, calabrese broccoli, celery, and sparkler radish seeds. Thank you very very much - I am new to several of those and can't wait to get them started! From darlyn58, I got this old fashioned printed card with a horse pulling a trailer. Brings me back to the good ol' days. She also sent the most generous amount of danvers half long carrots. WOW. Thank you so much and Merry Christmas!

Update here with some cards and goodies I've received over the past few days. Hope I don't miss anyone. I received a thoughtful card from Wenders67. Thanks Wenders! From quiltingfox/Sandra I got a nice card, and Joe pye Gateway, and Trifolium Incarnatum, 2 things I recently discovered I needed. Thanks Sandra! Lastly, I received a wonderful card and envy stuffed with goodies from GraanieB/Bea and Mary. They sent me Romaine lettuce, fennel (I hear the butterflies like that too), eggplant (had been meaning to try that sometime so 2009 must be the year for that), Cress, Zucchini, White hyacinth bean vine, zinnia mix, Lantana 'Carlos', and Coral Vine. What wonderful surprises. Thanks Bea and Mary! Again, thank you all for the wonderful cards, seeds, and spirit of giving that has been shown here in this great swap. I have enjoyed it all so much, and hope I didn't forget to acknowledge anyone here. Now, if I was just caught up on getting some free seeds or seeds for postage together to be mailed. Sue...off to catch up a few emails, reviews, and pack some seeds

As soon as we hear that Rigo got his SS box, then it will be complete.

I enjoyed being the "host" and will do it next year unless someone else wants to :)

I agree... You ROCK!! Hosting trades is a hard job and you did an outstanding job. I let the holidays take ovr and did not get a chance to post a pic of my cactus garden that Ryan sent me. He also gifted me a choice of three brugs. I have to decide. That will be hard so I will need all of you guys help of what will be good for my area and is a good bloomer.

His cuttings are waiting & rooted & I keep adding seeds to his box. Come on warm weather, so they can go home. LOL

Great planter Audrey! It will be exciting to pick three brugs of your choice. I am sure those living in the colder climates can give you some great suggestions.
