My moro orange tree

littleluey

i planted in the ground a moro blood orange tree about 1.5 to 2 months. When we have the first heat waves here in Arizona my tree seemed like it needed water, so i was watering it about every 3rd day or so. Now it seems to have adapted to it's new spot and for the last two weeks or so i have been watering it every5-6 days.

I am preparing to go on vacation and i want to prepare my tree as well to be without water for a week and a half.

Any ideas that will help my young tree survive?

or, i could hook it up to the automatic watering system for my veggies bed, but this would mean water everyday.

Ideas?
