Mine has no leaves on it right now. It's outside, and gets way too much water, but seems to survive. I have it under an oak tree, which is just right for it here in SW Florida. Bright, but indirect light is best.

Hi, great to hear from you 2 guys. My plant is now about 6-7 inches above the soil line and looking good so far. I have "sparkling burgundy" Eucomis. Yes, it's Eucomis not Euphorbia gardengal. Sorry, to many plant searches.... I have mine in a large pot, and I've been hoping I can overwinter it in that pot which is a large pot, but, I'm not sure how many gallons the pot is. It's a large double walled plastic pot from Rural King. I'm thinking maybe 15 gallon pot? I will try to get the real number and/or size of the pot. I must say I'm glad to hear from you 2 that they are zone 7 and possibly 6 with protection. I hope you 2 can post a pic soon. I'll do so also. Later.

AaghAargh. The hidden enemy. I managed to get a systemic for mealy from Germany. Expensive with postage but it seems to have worked. I mix a very open mineral compost that if one is gentle you can get things out of a pot without damage. Im not sure how much that helps with root mealy , maybe its the systemic? The systemics no good for rsm , still use a contact. Wasnt fast enough with a Lophophora but its still with me (not so the Parodia next to it!!). Good luck with the bup`s.

I bought one on the markdown rack at Lowe's, and was wondering how large it gets. Descriptions online said up to 3 feet tall, but that doesn't sound right for one of the smaller ones.
