How tall does Prince Charles get in zone 6b?

Next year I'm replacing my front porch. The new structure will be roofed with trellising on the sides. That side of the house faces northeast. I'd like to grow a flowering climber up the sides. Now normally I'd grow a climbing rose but I know better than to do that against a north facing wall. I've done some research into shade tolerant clematis and narrowed down my choices to PERLE D'AZUR and PRINCE CHARLES.

Of the two I'd prefer PRINCE CHARLES because I've read here on the forum that it establishes itself quicker and has better repeat. My only concern is the height. My house is buildt on a slope and the porch is raised up from the ground level. I need that clematis to reach 12 feet. Will Prince Charles make it up to that height or should I stick with the taller Perle D'Azur?
