Over here, they actually chop down all conifers in mixed forests (not in all forests!!). So even if it is not a monoculture, which is the pinnacle of worthlessness they think. How about this one: heath is only possible over here because of human interference. Prior to 1100 AD there was no heath nor inland sand dunes. These are deserts caused by the same overgrazing iwe see in the Sahel region. Now what is modern? Chop down forests people started to grow on them, in fact erase the fertile layer that has developed since and change it back into a desert....It happens all around over here. Right, and we are going to tell Africans not to chop down their woods for their (economic) reasons? Anyway: how natural is that? How native can you consider this interference? These double standards are a second point I dislike. Humans are not natural unless they do something some ecologists like (not all ecologists are like that of course). Why do we have so many birds over here in Holland? Because all woods were cut down, now we have some sort of wet prairie where birds flourish. But only for as long as humans chop down new trees or big, nonnative (!!) browsers do so. These browsers were introduced and can do so because there (well for the time being) are no wolves to prevent it. Studies in Yellowstone have shown that reintroducing wolves leads to fast reforestation as browsers are hunted again. The reintroduction of wolves in the Netherlands has been halted because of....wolves would kill big browsers, which was considered bad for birds....Aha: that is very natural indeed....Well, the wolve is at our doorstep now,lynx is already back. Foxes, which have no real negative impact on birds btw are also shot because they could harm birds...Etcetcetc. I feel there is a lot of disprespect to life of trees and animals and native ones are overrated. What started the deforestation in Europe first? Right: just chopping down woods because that was what they are here for......Why not teach children that all life has value, not only among humans there is equality but all living things have to be respected and can't be killed just like that, surely not because some sort of doctrine. Look at the Grey Squirrel in England, they even bang the little ones heads against trees and kill the parents by trampling on them. Or shoot parenting birds and leave the young on the nest to starve. Of course this conflicts with animal right groups and in my opinion righfully so. Or giving grey squirrels warfarine, which cause them to have internal bleedings (in the brains) and again a horrible death. I am sorry, but again some sort of doctrine actually sells killing as something necessary, to save red squirrels. Why are red squirrels better or worse then grey ones? Are whites better than blacks? Why? Should blacks stay in Africa or be reintroduced into their native habitats if this could be possible? I think not, but may some one can give some good reason why it is different.. Amongst ourselves, humans, we have had our fair share of war based on doctrines. Just remember a part where some race was considered awfull and killed by the millions because of some doctrine. Sorry to get carried away a bit, but this is truely what I think. Morally I see no difference in disproprotionate value adding to animals based on nativeness or nonnativeness. It is artificial, it makes the animals (and trees) first class and second class "citizens" and then, like many other doctrines it opens up the way to eradicate them. Thank you all for your support it means the world to me. I've always been the type to beat myself up for not knowing how to do the things just right. It would not be so bad if dad's mind wasn't clear as a bell right now. His abuse of his medicine is a real concern for me. I got a call from him today saying he needs his antibiotic for his sinus, well he'll only take one or two and he says it cures his sinus. You and I know this isn't so and even if it does help it's short term, taking the antibiotics like that can cause harm but no one can get this through to my dad. I have had so many problems with doctors in my past that I don't trust them easily. It was me that saved my husband from a possible stroke, his blood pressure was high and I could tell when it was up but with the sleep apne he had to take showed how bad it was. They could not get it down all night so I marched into our dr.'s and told them about this and they looked back at his chart and seen that it was high everytime he went in for a check up. Now why don't they pay more attention to this? This is why I fear looking for yet another doctor. I have no luck with them. Only once did I have a wonderful doctor and within a year my insurance changed and he didn't take it :( He was the one that listen to me about my weight and took test finding that my thyroid was bad. I went through years with a sore throat and my throat closing up at night in my sleep, waking up unable to breath for 10 or so seconds but felt longer and didn't know if I'd get my breath. If it's wasn't for y'all I don't know if I'd be able to be strong for my dad. I never knew it could be so hard. I look at pictures of my grandparents, dads parents and talk to them and wishing they were here. They had a hard life and I can just image that they went through just what I am now. They took care of my great grandmother for 17 years then told my grandmothers brother it was time for him to care for his mother and give them a break. Great grandmother was called little granny and I never seen pictures of her but heard great stories about her, I found a picture of her the other day and I'm so happy to finally seen her, she past away a few years before I was born. Oh, Linda, don't you wish you wouldn't have been so considerate to even ask! I'm sure alot of people wouldn't have even bothered asking. The kid that doesn't like onions....maybe a sliced raw onion, but if he is like my son, he eats them all the time in sauces and is never aware of it. Or like my daughter that 'hates' tomatoes, but loves red sauces, pizza sauce and can drink a bottle of ketchup! So the kid that doesn't like lettuce, well, lettuce is usually served raw and can be picked out or avoided at their trouble, not yours. You are very gracious to serve this dinner and very caring for asking about allergies. The kids that thought they should share their likes and dislikes are being quite 'ungracious'. You of course are concerened about HEALTH issues, not trying to cater to the likes of 100 kids. Remember, it is one meal, they will not live or die on this one meal. For the majority, they will be happy and appreciative for your efforts and offerings. For the two or three that aren't, well if they are that picky, they are used to showing up and not eating and they probably will have planned accordingly by eating before or after or having snacks available.

If this is a custom line, then they can take a standard panel and a router table and cut the grooves wherever you want them and then finish the panel. If it's not custom, then they aren't set up to do anything outside their production line materials and it's not going to happen unless the installer can cobble it together from outsourced materials as a kludge. Replacing the beadboard with simple skins would be an acceptable substitute. I know this is what you "want", however, as a design statement, the wide beadboard is very very rarely seen used in cabinetry. It's more suitable for wall or ceiling because of the larger expanse of space. When you have a narrow area like the side of a cabinet, narrow details like the narrower beadboard are more suitable visually. You will only get a couple of grooves showing on a cabinet side, and for a cabinet back, it's not worth doing at all as it won't really be visible behind the decorative pieces. So, although this is something that you really wanted, this is an opportunity to rethink that and to maybe mock it up visually to see if it's worth spending any money on. With only 7 grooves being able to be shown on a base cabinet side and maybe 2 on a wall cabinet, this will not be a statement with any visual impact and may look subtly "wrong" rather than "intentional statement".
