Thanks again, everyone. It really is amazing how the companion plants changed the whole look of the garden. And last year's 'gaudy' turned into this year's 'vivid'. It's definitely a big learning process but very gratifying when it works. But I'm not sure how these plants will handle the summer heat. A very cool side note: I noticed the white dianthus is gradually turning light pink. A very nice effect. My problem with these blooming plants is still how to deadhead them. I can't tell the difference between the pods left after blooming and the new buds, so I'm scared to cut and lose the next flowers but if I don't cut I won't have any new flowers. Argh! Handsome tiny Capitaine Dyel de Graville is now ugly CDdG, having been deadheaded and accumulated some BS. Oh, well, maybe he'll pretty up by Saturday. It just shows they have their bad days. Clotilde Soupert has been blooming for a month! She does ball some but a lot open, too. One thing's for sure, I couldn't have done it without all your kind help and advise. I just have a load of mulch to put out and some leaf blowing & furniture clean-up to do outside. Then it's on to housecleaning and baking. A dear rose friend is assisting me as hostess. DH is the designated photog, so hopefully, I'll have photos & video of the 3 or 4 people who show up. :)) I've thought about calling the newspaper (DH thinks I should), but I'm shy and don't really feel comfortable doing that. o.k here are my 2 cents,go to photobucket bting up your pictures-account-click on left corner of bottom of picture.scroll down to bottom of page,click on"gen-html(new page)click first set of codes,copy and pasr to post this should give clickable pictures.( When you go to photobucket, you know you need to open a new tab, without closing the gardenweb page where you are trying to post the pictures) if this does not work I will come back tomorrow and e-mail you the directions directly to you, someone in here walked me thru this same procedure, cause I know nothing about computer, but trying to learn!! Try and try again. Ok I went and did this way,I clicked on the pictures below and then I clicked on the rop right hand under page this brings a small screen with copy and paste words then back to the post(gardenweb) click on copy and paste and presto! lets see if it works for you if not I will come back and redescribe the process sometimes I forget some small detail. When my mother died, I had a slide show made of pictures that started with one of her and her mother when mother was only a few months old. Others, as she grew up, married, had us kids, and several events with friends, were all put in chronological order. The show was set up in the entry of the church...and there was no music. Didn't need it. Her cousins, friends, and their children all enjoyed seeing pictures of themselves much younger and having fun. Music would have drowned out their remarks that celebrated mom's life.

I understood that marble counter is not for everyone and I know I wouldn’t mind little stain here and there with inevitable etches that the materials is very susceptible. My issue is brand new installed marble popping up these stain circles after the fabricator left with the check. As I was saying, I went to very reputable local marble slab retailer and got a recommendation from sales who’s with same company for long time, I didn’t go with highest bidder but my fabricator wasn’t the cheapest either. I solely chose him because someone who works at the marble dealer hired the same guy to install his own kitchen. I ended up not getting a slab from the sales but he was nice enough wish me luck when I told him I’m going with whom he recommended but getting slab from somewhere else. I admit that my house is not anywhere near showcase house but with willingness to accept its flaw, I think I’m entitled to choose what I want for my countertop. I’m reminding everyone who stopping by reading my post is that I am not whining about nicks and discoloration from everyday use as if I didn’t research enough what it’s limitation and pitfalls. I’m surprised that no one sees the improvements. I see it and I’m hoping to get improved to the point that I can have the guy come back seal the stone again.(I doubt that he did based on what I see)
