Can you identify this clematis?

Bought this one on sale at Home Depot. The lighter-colored flower at the top was the bloom it had at HD. The smaller, deeper-colored flowers bloomed after I planted it.
Now, the ID stick in the plant said it was a "Snow Queen" clematis, but I know it must be a mistake because "Snow Queen is a white clematis, right?

Anyway,if anyone can identify this one for me I'd appreciate it. The colors in the photo are true to life.

Looks like my Moonfleet. They open deep purple and fade to a pale purple (almost white). Also I know HD had many Moonfleets near me this year :)

Well, here I am again, still wondering what the heck this Clematis is! I thought that, yes...it must be a Moonfleet, but now in its second year, I noticed that it's one of my first clematis to bloom. It set buds in April, and bloomed in mid May! The blooms are large, too. I went to Clematis on the Web and entered the info on this one, and the search came back as 'Baltyk, which is an early flowering Group 2 clem. I'm now assuming that this mystery clem of mine is a group 2, but is it a Baltyk? Here's a pic I took this past weekend. Any opinions? Thanks!

It probably isn't Venosa violacea because that blooms later than forget-me-nots, here in July and August. One way to help ID clems is to use the search page on Clematis on the Web, linked below. Fill in the info you know. prune: type2 based on flowering time group: early large flowered tepal color: pink and leave the stuff you don't know blank. Then look at the photos of what pops up to see if you can ID it. It does look about right for Asao to me also. Here is a link that might be useful: Clematis on the Web search page

Can't tell you the exact cultivar - absolutely too many to choose from - but it is a large flowered hybrid and if blooming now, in pruning group 2. Group 3's bloom later and group 1's do not include any LFH's - only species clems. Pruning group 2 clems do not require much pruning but if desired, they can be hard pruned like group 3's to simplify pruning chores. This just tends to push back the bloom season a few weeks.

There are more than one that color. I just happen to have Charissima, John Warren is also that color with huge flowers, much bigger than Charissima. Doesn't look like John Warren to me though. I have Hagley Hybrid too.

Might be 'Candida' or 'Miss Bateman' if the stamens are redder than that when they first open. It is hard to say, there are so many white large flowering hybrids (group II)
