Citrus is affected by powdery mildew, some varieties can suffer rather seriously. Neem oil applications can be very helpful in curing an infestation.

PM is one of those diseases that can largely be prevented with some basic management practices. It would be a good idea to try to figure out 'why' your plant might have fallen prey to this fungus so that you can prevent it from happening again.

I was under the impression that the improved meyer(which I forgot to clarify)was "desiease free"
Guess I should of known that was too good to be true LOL

I have only had it for about a week and since I have had it I have been letting it sit on my porch and get about 8 hours of sun a day and bringing it in at night.In in zone 8 so I assume this is fine and the problem must have started at Home Depot where I bought it:(

Kev, have you ever heard of the fungus, Sooty Mold? Perhaps you can look it up online, then compare to whatever's growing on your leaves.

Would you happen to have Fish Emulsion? You can use in place of Neem Oil.

Insects are the cause of Sooty Mold..Which is where Neem/Fish Emulsion would help. Toni

Did some looking and dont think its the sooty mold(leaves have no black just grey powder)But thanks for having me look into that option.
Now if I come across that I will know what it is.

FE has an odor, should have warned you..They also sell odorless, which, I think, not sure, contains parsley flakes..You can find it on Ebay at a decent price..Homeharvest.com sells an odorless, or did..it's been a while since I've checked their site.
If you spray plants outside the odor won't matter..indoors lasts about 2 days..If it's warm crack open a window. Candles, incense, and/or air freshioners cover the smell. The good thing is, it's not harmful..So safe around kids/pets. If it does the job, it's worth a couple days sniffing fish..if you're a fish lover, it won't matter..LOLOL..Toni
I use 1 capful of FE to a gallon of water..mix/shake thoroughly..place in a clean spray bottle..use after mixing. Don't let it sit overnight..Any fertilizer, be it chemical or organic is not to be used if sitting longer than a couple hours..so don't pre-mix. Good luck, Toni

Hi agin everyone:-)

Well I noticed today that some of the leaves are starting to turn lime green.
Most of the lower leaves are still dark green and waxy but the upper leaves are the ones getting more of the lime green look.
Of course I would think this means it needs some food but its still in the container I bought it in and I can see that there is the round little,Im guessing slow release,fertilizer in it.
Not quite sure what to do?

Toni, I just saw that you suggested that fish emulsion be used in place of Neem for the control of powdery mildew. Fish emulsion is not a cure for PM. Neem, however, does have systemic fungicidal qualities and is effective for a number of common plant diseases.

kev, you need to understand that we can't help you too much with your plant since we can't see the leaves, the soil, etc. Since you've had it such a short time, perhaps what you are noticing is simple acclimation shock.

If there is slow release fertilizer potting mix, you should be able to see it. But perhaps you should repot into a good, fast-draining mix, and add the fertilizer yourself.

In zone 8, I wouldn't think that you'd need to be bringing your plant in at night any longer.

I do plan to repot very soon.
I am still looking for a slow release fertilizer for citrus(the only one I can find is by MG and they say not to use in containers)
The leaves are looking ok now,just a little fungicide residue that hasnt washed off yet.
It has been staying out all night for a little over a week now.

The problem is there is just no new growth at all.
It looks healthy,just hasnt grown.
