Hey Lucy, I have dug up my share of rocks too! They surely do come in handy at times. I feel for you getting to enjoy the neighbors sewer. Just got rid of that problem myself. Didn't run on my side mind you however, the smell would knock you down! Glad our lots are very large! They finally had new field lines installed about 2 weeks ago. I got maybe half of my grass mowed yesterday and the storm came. It is suppose to rain again today too. I will try to mow some more after it dries up a little this morning. Maybe I can get a little more down. At least finish where people can see. haha I will just have to walk through the tall wet grass to work on my plants. When you find that garden helper send him on over to me. : ) Good Luck with your mower today! Tammy

Pam thank you for the ID on the bird. You know so much about all these beautiful creatures I see and love!! Enjoy the talk with your neighbors! It all happens for a reason. I had to lovely walkers stop by today while watering the front. Started talking and then I did some enabling lol. In the end they did me a favor from watering to early. That way I was done around noon and did not have to water again lol Susan I hope you are doing ok health wise!!!? Glad to be back because this is keeping me feeling all peaceful and at ease on the inside. Here when you go outside during the day it feels like you opened the oven door and stepped right in it. The plants look so sad when it is so hot but amazingly...after watering in the morning....the beauty is just wonderful to look at. Dorothy I did not forget about the seeds. You just made me LOL with the bumping up ha ha ha I answered in another post of yours when I saw the pretty periwinkles. Let them grow some more and they will produce SO many seeds...that you could supply your whole state with it lol To the Oxalis...I have them in the ground all year long and year after year they come back. Mulitply real fast and the more shade they have...the darker they stay and bigger they grow. Hope I made you happy now :-))) Hugs Lucy

Pam actually the one I have growing behind the house that gets not that much afternoon sun at all and lots of water..grew into a fairly nice sized plant! Elizabeth the WE turned out to be great already when I went and finally bought a new stove today. Been cooking with only the 2 small burners. Big ones were broken. I guess now I have less time to spend here because I got to start cooking again rofl. Haase that is how it all started for me too ha ha ha Kylie I love the crinium Lily. Everything is growing so nicely!! Even the Santa Rosa that I though hubby did not take care of well enough and it did not root...is really putting out new growth now with all the rain. WOW I love the rain. But not all the fire ant hills popping up everywhere!! Lucy

Dorothy it is the same. Mine looked just like it when it was baby spinach lol I rarely look at the leaves though. Because the blooms are just gorgeous how it looks hanging over the top. It grows SO FAST it is not funny. Got to nib it back a lot. Mine gets LOTS of water...of COURSE>..it is ME we are talking about hahahahaha and is in the ground. thanks Susan and Joyce. Joyce does that sound like I found a taker for a plant I can share with you when I did em up? that is if the cats leave me some. I swear some are so bare and show no re growth what so ever :-( yet. Kasha what a sweet *reward* for posting the POTD for everyone and hoping that it will do some good to at least ONE of you each day.

I had the pleasure of finally meeting Princealbert and his sweet wife Betty today. What a treat it was!
One day I really want to meet so many of you, that if ever there will be a nationwide get together...I will be there. Until then...I have to start with smaller get togethers like swaps lol

Caren I am glad you like them too lol Who needs tea right? lol

Pat so glad you had time for tea. I was so hung up in downloading scrapbook things from a PSP group, that when princealbert called...I had to tell him that I am still not dressed roflmao

Yes it is one of the new hibiscus' I bought in spring from a co op. they finally started growing a while ago and have shown their beauty to me a few times. Wait until you see that black dragon photo!!

Eloise most of these hibiscus' have very thick roundish leaves. Not really lots of them on most lol.

Ingrid what a joy it was to hear from you again. Sorry that it is so cold there. But just remember what beautiful temps you are coming back home to :-) I would not worry about your angel. It always works out. Even when at first you get a shock...like I did twice after coming back from Florida...but everything is fixable!! One way or another.

Tim do I smell a possible trade I can share with you after all? You know I am desperately looking for something to give back to you for all the wonderful plants you shared and sharing with me.
