OT: Prayers needed

I sure hope this is ok.

My 19yr old granddaughter is in ICU with severe viral pnemonia and they are testing for H1N1.

She is on a breathing machine and it is very serious.

I am unable to be there with my daughter as I have no car right now and it is so hard.

Her heart rate was 156 last time she called me.

Thank you so much everyone.

Albert passed away at 1PM yesterday. He is best know for sharing his brugmansia plants. He just got interested in Plumeria, after he moved to the coast this past Dec. He was just putting in his flowerbeds at his new house. I talked to him last Saturday. He offered to let me have his trailer to bring back the big plumeria plants from John's house for K and Willey. I did not have a hitch on my car, He said his daughter took his truck to Belton, so he did not have a way to haul the trailer either. I told him I will just take my small truck, and see if I could bring a few home. When the box I had was too small to mail Andrew's Bill Morange, Albert drove 15 miles to bring me a box so I would be able to mail it to him. He was always thinking of others. He always read the plumeria forum, brugmansia forum, and the gardening in Texas forum, he told me he was so busy building his new deck and putting in flowerbeds, that he did not have time to post anymore. Thank you for posting the article from the Union Leader. After reading the article from the newspaper last evening (The Cabinet)I was wondering what happened. It was a horrible accident. How helpless that person operating the snowblower must have felt at that moment. Extra prayers for them. My husband was in a crush trauma accident 6 years ago. Most people do not survive with the same injuries. We are thankful for each day. Remember to hug your loved ones and tell them each day how much they mean to you. Each day is more precious than we realize.

Thank you all for your Thoughts and prayers they have helped me today. Brian does not see the doctor till Wednesday noon he did pretty good today he managed the pain alright. He called this afternoon thinking he will not have enough pain meds till Wednesday, I told him get through tonight he could call doctor in the monring. I do not think the ER thought it would be 3 days to see doc. But I know Dr. is waiting to see what the swelling is doing and it will be over 72 hours when he goes. I think he is also starting to realize he is gonna go stir crazy while this heals and I warned him it might be longer than 6-8 weeks. He said he will need a hobby then and wanted to learn to sew. lol I will let ya know the update... Nanci

De Spike and Ginger are too cute!! Spike is just adorable she looks like such a big dog in the first pic lol. Here are some pics of Maggie she loves to lay on anything clean- does Spike? She loves her plastic foot LOL This is Jorgie Thanks for everyones prayers :-) I wanted to say that Maggie had to go back to the dr's today and have her splint redone. MOrning all.
What a great bunch you are, I cannot thank you enough.
Audry is being treated for H1N1. My last update with her mother, Tammy, was at 3am.
Her fever at that time did drop 2 degrees and her heart rate, altho still high, did slow a bit.
She cannot have visitors for 48 hours except for her parents.
We are not out of the woods yet they tell us. Audry has a mild heart condition which complicates matters.
I will keep you updated as Tammy calls me.

A prayer has been said on behalf of Audry and all her family. Glad to hear there is some slight improvement, and looking forward to the next update when things will be highly improved :-) God is good!

I am very Happy to hear Audry is getting better.. She is in my thoughts and Prayers as are you and your family.. Where in Texas are you?? Where is she? I have Truck!

You are all so wonderful.
Audry took a turn for the worse, so she will remain heavily sedated until Wednesday at the earliest and on the respirator.
They are aggressivly treating the pnemonia and for H1N1, eventho the tests have not come back in
Tomorrow, I think the doc said, an infectious disease doctor will come in.
They ran a scope and took a scraping of her lungs today.
The xrays they took this morning showed the pnemonia worsening, but the doctor said that that could be due to the fact that when the first xrays were taken she was dehydrated and once hydrated the infection appears clearer, therefore looking worse, but may not actually be.
Please continue to pray for Audry and her mother Tammy.
This is heartbreaking watching your child suffer for her child.
As we were leaving the hospital, a gentle rain was falling and a beautiful rainbow appeared.
God is truly good.

dear texasfern-
A few months ago, my 3 yr old niece, Mercy- came down with the flu- it turned into pluresy, then her lung collapsed... they did tests & found a very strange unknown virus in her lungs- & the doctors were stumped... we fought the fight of faith for her & she was near death several times.... we completely laid her in God's arms- asking Him to heal her- it was a slow process, but she made an astonishing recovery- even the doctors said it was a miracle.. she finally came home, and is back to her dance lessons... loving her baby brother & life! We will continue to pray for Audry til she is totally healed and back home with her Mom... thanks for the updates!

texasfern I will pray for Audry to get better real fast. For the mother's who's hearts are aching because they see their child suffer and can not do anything but pray.

But when doctors do all they can...God jumps in and does his work. So everyone PRAY!!

There are always signs ...right Kasha....that they work.
