Randy, an odd thing about WRS, I have two and one is a thrips magnet but the other one isn't. They're both very young and I don't think they've found both yet. It doesn't seem like there are as many thrips this year but certainly enough to make the roses look terrible. The clematis is very distinctive, lots of blooms but not much foliage. Thank you Jackie but my roses don't compare to yours, neither does my garden. I have another malva that I've had for years that's similar to zebrina but is darker without the strips. Maybe it's the same as yours. I'm anxious to see yours. I'm wondering it Florida Sieboldii isn't more suited for our warmer climates since it blooms so early and continues into winter. Unfortunately, you haven't provided sufficient information - as to where you live, etc. - so I went and did a search on Google.com for both of the Clematis you wanted. The better sources I found are listed below. I haven't ordered from anyone of them, but I do receive their catalogs and have heard that they are quite reliable. Unfortunately, "Song Sparrow Nursery" has sold out of one of the varieties that you listed, but they are an excellent source - as are the others - and you might wish to obtain their catalogs and search their offerings online as well.
